From Athens- Game Day Friday #6

Good Morning All,

After the UT game last week I best double the Tums supply for this week’s game.

I heard a talking head speak to the fact that there are no style points in football.

Win ugly or lose pretty not much to ponder what’s best.

In our recent pass we would have found a way to lose.

The difference this year we found a way to win.

Three turnovers in the last 5:55.

We had the spark on defense when we needed it.

I feel having had a game like this before playing USC was in our favor.

There were many teachable points for the coaches to use getting ready for this week’s game.

IMO the players and coaches as well as the fans know we kinda whistled walking past the cemetery on this game.

Looking over the season records of the last 6 NC teams they all had an escape game.

UT was right there to upset Bama when Mt. Cody blocked not one but two FG’s and kept the Tide undefeated and on their way to a NC in 2009.

I would deem last Saturday as an escape game for our Dawgs for sure.

Here is wishing a speedy and a full recovery to MB –DGD.

Time for the next guy up to pick up the slack.

Thanks MB for your two TD’s last week against the Vols and the fourth down play last year in JAX.

You are a big time player.

Last season our payback games were Assburn and UF we took care of business with both.

This season we have some business with Vandy and USC to even up. Vandy was dispatched rather nicely IMO thank you.

USC is next up.

Once again big stage with Espn Game Day pumping up the crowd-a night game against the ole ball sack.

AM will go into this game much like he did the UF game last year.

We are not leaving without a win. Whatever it takes we are all in.

Talk ends about AM not beating a ranked team.

This is one of the games our team speaks about having no regrets.

CTG and the defense will show up.

With Vandy and Franklin CTG had a tussle.

When it comes CSS and CTG the issues are a tad bigger.

0-2 does not sit well with CTG.

CTG has had a year to stew and prepare for this game.

I would not be surprised to see a few new wrinkles being added just for CSS and the chickens.

No voodoo magic from CSS this year.

Dawgs show up

Run the ball and run the ball again,just like Vandy and UT. Pound the rock let our RB's make plays

Our TE’s may have a break out game catching the ball

Just win baby – one more time

Our Team –Our Time – No Regrets – need to make these words stand up

I think this game is going to be a real down and dirty SEC football game, every yard for both teams is going to come hard. Think we have the ability to score more often in that type of game and will come out with 3 more points than them. GO DAWGS!!!!!!GATA

I mentioned to growl that for me, it is very simple......which OL can block the opponent's D front will win this game. I have real concerns that we will be successful blocking their front four. THAT being said though, good play calling can eliminate much of that problem.....hope I'm wrong and we run on them just like we have been doing.

Imo......zero turnovers....we win.

I hope I don't get anyone mad at me for saying this, but I think the 'Cocks are overrated. Even the Ol' Ball Sack admitted they were lucky to win last year, even with all the gifts we gave them - and we gave them a LOT.

I don't think we'll blow them away, but I do think we'll win with relative ease.
