We say it a lot, but it bears repeating - Dawgs.com is the best football forum on the web - no garbage here.
thriller, folks like you and several others do not allow garbage on this board. We don't hear a lot from dapolla these days, however when the you know what hits the fan with outsider garbage on this board . . . . dapolla is locked and loaded. There are others, don't have to call out all of the names. Fully expect to see some traffic prior to the Missouri game.

Some on this board will be real happy to see that I believe. Along with having RB's that will show up for every game that know the playbook and are ready to play. I just don't see how this team isn't better. Correct me if you think I'm wrong on this. WE'll have to wait and see on the OL. GO DAWGS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
growl, one particular thing you posted above really caught my eye(s).

This is not really bashing IC, but AM spent a lot of time last season before the ball was snapped telling IC where and what to do. Good defenses make note of that.

I'm with you Buc (and others) about throwing in a few wrinkles with the offensive "sets" but with the talent we have up their, I'm sure they will start the season off in a pretty typical 1-2 page playbook fashion. If Gurley and Marshall are in the game, they still have a huge learning curve to master no matter how intelligent they are........this is SEC football.
Imo, as the OL and freshman RB's mature (both physically and mentally), they will gradually work their way through the playbook. They should AT LEAST show much more motion, different formations etc etc even if running base plays.
I don't feel we have to go crazy on the offensive side of the ball, just need to EXECUTE better.......BAMA anyone?

Believe that our first game will have many running backs playing unless something is out of the ordinary. Young men have worked hard in practice, they will be rewarded. Another way to look at it of course is getting that rhythm throughout the offense, that is usually the reasons stated for 1 or 2 backs. Definitely need to be ready for Missouri, they will play hard.
One of the most encouraging messages I believe that has come from Athens is that this young freshman group is quickly grasping the play book. I am also one of those that believes in KISS. If you have the talent, don’t need a play book the size of the proposed health care plan. Think sometimes offensive coordinators spend too much time off the field “doodling”.
Back to the motion portion. Someone on the defense has to pick up the man in motion, creates “opportunites” for the fullback and the tightends. Really hoping that both of these positions are used more this year, know that I along with WoodstockDawg have said it many times, just the way I see things. Orson caught many passes last season, personally think that Jay Rome is going to be much more than Orson was, sky is the limit for Rome.
EXECUTE better.......BAMA anyone? TRUTH . . .

Also believe you are dead on with Rome. As good as Orson was (is), Rome seems more athletic, allusive and will be better with yac's. Excited to watch him this year. I'm sure he got most of his athleticism from his Dad with about another 50 lb.s added.......he has the potential to be UGA's best ever (I know, bold statement but I had the priviledge to watch his father play ball, just ask ogredawg, he will attest).
Getting nervous Buc.....prefer it to be excited, winning will transform the two.
