southernlover, think you and Todd Grantham are on the same page. Don't know if you have seen the video where he tells the media that as soon as a young man chooses UGA, they move on to the next recruit that has yet to sign, forgetting the players that have committed. Anyway, in case you haven't, the link is pasted below. Right around the 1 minute mark is when he has something to say about recruits.

Another thing that is on my mind that has been discussed on this board over a long period of time, and others as well. Running back(s) or running back. Truthfully I am on board with more than one, or two or three if all can get the job done.
My reasoning goes along these lines . . . when Herschel Walker played college football, the linemen and for that matter the entire defenses in the 1980's don't compare with what a running back is facing in this day and time. Weights, speed, coaching in high school, drastic changes.
Earlier this year on our board we had a lively discussion about running backs and . . . . formations. I would love to see us do something out of the UGA normal offensive sets and use as much of our talent as possible on a single play. I know that I keep coming back to changing things up . . . in my way of thinking we have a tremendous amount of talent that somehow does not make it on the field because of formations and maybe traditional play calling.
Believe it or not this is not a shot at Mike Bobo . . . . unless the shoe fits. When I look at last years statistics, and then look at the new additions to the offensive side of the ball, I don't see a lot of teams in the SEC that are above us when we discuss talent.
I don't know, just throwing out some of the things that cross my mind. Would be a good time for the board members to express some views . . . . prior to the opening kick off. Once the season starts there will be a lot of us telling the coaches how to do things. Don't take that last statement wrong . . . . many of us think that some of our brain trusts have not used our talent to its fullest.
Getting close, hoping that the offense and defense can build some memories that will last them and (us) a lifetime. Some of the players are thinking that and are using guarded speech as to what they are going to do. I like this team, could be one of our better teams that span many years of gridiron action.
Let's win the fourth quarter along with the previous three this season.
Go Dawg . . .
