An interesting game, should be an easy win.
The intangibles, how we handle the playing environment, probably the biggest game in the history of Missouri football.
It will tell us a whole bunch about what this team is about.

I'm with you Buc, good artice as usual. I agree with your comment about AM and BOBO, it is true that BOBO did not cause AM to throw the Int, and fumble the ball at the worst times. For me it is the lack of plays called by BOBO. I mean you look at any game, and we mainly run up the middle, throw the long bomb, screen, or step back andn trow to the wr behind the line. That is pretty much it. We have full backs, we have TE, what happen to the slant across the field, what happen to the down and out for a guick first down. It seems that our offense has stayed the same for the past 3 or 4 years and it does not take a DC very long to shut down our lack of play calling.
I for one am tired of hearing we have so many more plays, it just that the players can't learn but so many. so we are limited on what we can run. I still say if we want to be with ALA and LSU we will have to get an established OC like Fla did. I bet you Fla will come out with more plays that we have ever seen. Are there players smarter than ours, I don't think so, it just that CMR and BOBO are satisfied with our current offensive system.

averagedawg in agreement. No doubt that the away game at Missouri should answer many of the questions that are still out there. Our defense seems very confident, hoping that some of that rubs off on the offense.

duck, agree with your assessment but will have to say that LSU and BAMA's play calling (especially BAMA's) isn't "anything to write home about" either. They are very conservative in their play calling as well, they just have the OL's to get it done and we haven't.
Now UF......totally agree you will see anything and everything in their play calling this year and going forward. They may not have the offensive players in place yet to run everything THIS year but they will eventually.
Again, do agree with you that we need to open it up.....sure, establish the run, but open it UP.

Just one quick thing if we don't beat Missouri by at least 3 touch downs then we still have alot of work to do.Also why not let Boo and Gurley play the first quarter then put Marshall and IC in then do the same 3 and 4 quarter start with thunder then go to lighting that is just to simple regardless of OL this should work.(IMO)
