From Athens - "AQWIA"

Good Morning All,

AQWIA- “Another quite week in Athens.” Used this before, look forward to being able to repeat using until our first game.

We need to make all our noise on the field winning-period!

IC is still working hard without any trash talk, like the fact the team is behind him. Excellent news.

We picked up a prime re-commitment from a much need DB for 2013-again excellent news. This has a making of a run of talent heading to UGA in 2013.

Again we have CTG and his leadership to thank.

IMO we will see a marked improvement on the “O” side of the ball as a result of CTG’s presents.

This is CMB graduation year. He has to produce with the talent we have or CMR will have no choice. Mac will not ride this same horse for another season without seeing any major improvements.

My gut says all the slack in this chain is gone!

Good or bad we will not see another season of re-chew of the same old product.

I am getting word that the playbook is open and is under going a remake based on the skills who we now have playing offense.

Time will tell if this is rumor or not. I am leaning toward it being more truth than fiction.

One thing for sure we don’t need to worry about any funky uniforms to start the season with. Good Bye Power Rangers!

Not opening with a rank team well help also.

yankeedawg1, so many things that you and I are in agreement on with this thread.

Too much talent to rely on what coaches have become accustomed to in the past. Problem should not be play calling with this group. Main problem should be which very talented player gets the one football that all play with.

Wishing you and your family well, hoping that much of the bad weather up that way did not cause any problems. Always a special Bark or two for Georgia . . .

Thanks for your concern about our safety. Blessed again to have all the bad weather miss us to the north and east of Athens.

Georgia sends a special woof to her business agent, I am hearing noise from her about wanting to reopen her reward contract based on our preseason rankings. I told her no talks until after the Mizzou game.

Once again youth learns a painful lesson. OC did himself no favor in the draft as this is just a lack of good judgement. Hand the damn keys to somebody or call a cab.

If he had stayed we would be going to Mizzou down another quality starter.

Ouch and double Ouch !!!!

I can handle most things except stupidity.....

OC, you've got the draft coming up, hope those drinks tasted really good.....they may have cost you a couple of million.


On a good Friday note (as always), good morning yd1 !!! Sure hope you are correct about the playbook.....with the talent in Athens, AM could draw plays up in the dirt and be successful......hopefully they'll need at least a 3-ring binder this year instead of "sticky notes".
