1rst game
1-IC
2-RS
3-CT
4-KM
2nd game
1-IC
2-KM
3-RS
4-CT
3rd game
1-KM
2-IC
3-RS
4-CT
My point is it's actually going to change game to game. Pending on the oppoinent we are playing. I would never count CT and RS out of the number 1 starting position either it's going to be there senior year and there going to give the young pup's a run for there money in practice for that starting position.
KM is Keith Marshall
1-IC

2nd game

I want all of them to be #1 And ready to play. The Four Horsemen of UGA -RB's
We want fresh legs ! That and a big mean and ugly 'O'line that loves to but people on their backside.

I'd say that method worked out pretty well for LSU this year, huh?
And Stanger...kind of surreal seeing a "KM" in the UGA backfield again...

I'd say we'll see another KM back break out this year. WHO it will be I don't know but I look for one of the backs to break away from the pack this year with all the compition that's going to be going on in the spring someone will step up.
But the RB position is just to crazy to try and call right now. I mean look at this past season
IC had a good game against Coastal Carolina
CT had a good game against Auburn
RS had a good game against Flordia
Keith Marshall we know nothing about when it comes to playing SEC football.
BUT I would love to see all 4 backs be able to start any given game.
I read on another thread somewhere someone questioning CT scholarship. You must of not watched the Auburn game or watched the LSU game or the Tech game where he's throwing blocks on 200lb plus men and not backing down. Look at IC hell he's so scared to block he just acts like he forgot what to do and he's 200-210lbs. O ya CT is 165lbs too not 175lb.

Imo the #1 focus is the OL. The biggin's can make an average RB look all SEC. They'll all be fine and am glad KM will be there in Jan unlike IC that didn't get there until the summer. KM will understand a little more what it's like at the next level after going through Spring practice. IC found out the hard way.

Never questioned CT's effort. The point is in a prostyle offense there should never be a scholarship 163 or 173 lb running back on the roster. It takes big running backs to make it work. If you question that then you and I have completley different views of offense or better yet look at FL this year with 2 small running backs trying to run Weiss's pro system. In the spread my butt would clench up any time Rainey or Demps touched the ball, this past season they were rarely a threat. It is a much the system as the players. A small Rb has no place on this scholarship roster unless they did something else really really well on special teams.
Look at UGA avg TB that had a carry this year not including Smith,Boykin, Murray or
Mason.
7 running backs had carries avg 5'10' 201 pounds
LSU
6 running backs (excluding QBs) had rushes avg 5'11" 221 lbs.
I am not gonna bring up any stats other except 2. They beat us like they owned us in the 2nd half of the championship game and they are undefeated.
Type of System has to match type of players and vice versa.
UGA Systems call for big uglies in almost every position. Big and quick is even better.
