Anyone going to the Outback Bowl?

duck, if our special teams play "real SEC football" we will kick their butts.

Post wlayton made about Brady Ackerman before he edited it. Brady Ackerman hates UGA like some of us dislike Florida. Ackerman is a true UGA HATER from the get go. Over the past few years he has had a show on Sunshine Network, and when the use of the word Georgia came up, never failed to roll his eyes.

UGA by 21 duck. Take it to the bank. :)

I saw that show also, I to get CSS and I love watching it. The show I saw was on some sports channel with people I have never seen before, they were just going over the pros and cons of each bowl game and then picking the team they thought would win. I just happen to be flipping channels and game up on it as they said they would be going over the Outback bowl next. I have watched many sports shows and bowl specials, and most have picked UGA to win. I guess these guys put a little more explaination in their picks, so ya'll know me, just made me start to worry alittle bit. We need to win this game and start the 2012 in good fashion.

duck if last years UGA roster were playing this game with their limited experience in Grantham's defense and some of the play calling from last year on the offensive side, I would be scared to death.

I believe that this Michigan State team has a workman's mentality. I do not believe that they have the talent position for position that UGA has.

I do not believe that Michigan State wants AM and his receivers to be on the field a lot, like it or not, our guys can play pitch and catch. Can't speak to the running game at this point. A lot of UGA football folks will watch that part of our offense closely.

Of course I have a lot more that I could say, but this is a good opportunity for other people to do that. Last game for some of these players. First game of the 2012 season. Looking for a better beginning in 2012.

Dawgs win by 21. :)

Yeah Ackerman abviously doesn't like UGA (as well he shouldn't I guess).....he surprised me this season that he did pick UGA more than not and actually praised CTG the other night saying CMR still has his job because of CTG......

The dawgs simply were not ready for the BS game. They will be ready for this one. They have improved over the course of the season defensively. In regard to the SEC title game, it became a blowout because:
1. Dropped passes/ints kept us from padding our lead in the first half.
2. Special teams broke down and allowed LSU to get back in the game and build momentum.
3. We fumbled the ball fairly deep in our territory, and gave LSU a short field to work with, and our defense lost their swagger, especially after Hilliard began carrying the ball down after down.
If we had been up 28 points or even just 21 at the half, it might have been a different story.

This game is gonna be close, and will be decided by turnovers or special teams play.

OoltewahDawg, good post. From where I sit, LSU is just a damn good football team. Someone, somehow is going to figure out how to make things work. Appears to me that the players really enjoy playing for Miles. That means a lot.

Guess I have to ask you what the final score might be, or, just a winning point difference. Seems the book is still around 3, 3 1/2 points.

Turnovers always come into play, outside of that, our special teams need to "hook up". Do not believe that MSU can consistently drive the ball 80 yards against the Grantham defense. Might put one good drive together early, that is when the Dawgs figure out what the game plan is.

What say you . . . . :)

Edit: Guess that turnovers and special team play is what did UGA in against LSU.
