Wish I was going, limey. My in-laws live in Tampa, and a local judge who is an MSU grad is trying to get me to go, but I just don't think the funds are going to allow me to go. Have fun and cheer extra for me.

I was wanting to go, and planned to purchase tickets, but wife is tied down with her mom, and son-in-law couldn't work it out. Would have been a quick trip, as I have to be back at work on Thursday night. Just didn't want to drive down by myself.

Did not want to start a new thread, so but this under here. I was watching some sports show last night and they were going over some of the Jan 2 bowls. The UGA Mich State gsme came up, and these 2 guys said that UGA has no chance. There ligic was that UGA has not faced a run and passing attack such as Mich State since the BS game in the dome. There claims were that look at what BS did to them and Cousins their QB will pick UGA apart and their backs will run wild due to MS passing ability. Also stated that MS has a top 10 D and UGA will not be able to run the ball.

They claim that UGA's only hope is that MS does not want to be there, since they just missed out on the Rose bowl. UGA on the other had got blown out by LSU and make want to prove that they are better than the blow out loss.

OK guys, give me some feed back, I was feeling OK about this game, but they do make a pretty good case.

duck, I watched a show we get down here called "Talking Football" in Atlanta. GREAT show and is mainly about SEC teams and ACC teams (some nationally ranked teams of interest thrown in).

The four on the panel every week is host Bob Neal (he's hilarious), Brady Ackerman, Mark Schlabach and Tony Barnhart (Tony is from Ga. and Mark went to UGA).

Anyway, their analysis is entertaining and pretty good.....and their track records on picks on the show is good as well (Brady ALWAYS picks UF because he played for them......even though he doesn't think they will really win). Their picks and why (brief)

Bob Neal......UGA because of D, team speed and thinks IC may have come around a little and have a big game
Mark Schlabach......UGA because of MSU hasn't seen a D like ours and AM will have a big game
Tony Barnhart.......UGA because of speed, great D and AM/WR's
Brady Ackerman......MSU only because he thinks UGA will have a letdown (he picked UGA in most games all year except of course UF)
