To all my fellow Dawgs in Fla. Understand the payback in spades for all the trash you folks had to put up with over the years that the Dawgs left Jax not winning.

Worm has turned, the mess in Gainesville is just starting to bubble.

Ya thinks Texas isn't happy that Chipmunk didn't have the chance to run the Longhorn program.

UGA won missing out on both Mushchip and Kirby.... It is Great to be a Dawg !

Go Dawgs!

yankeedawg1, swaying from the thread a bit, just crossed my brain that there will be many saying goodbye to Larry Munson today in Athens. Another beautiful Georgia Dawg in Heaven. God bless you Larry Munson.

I was not impressed with Muschump's work at Texas. His defenses there were very good at chest bumps, but not much else. And there is no way Texas can ever claim a lack of talent.

Also not that impressed with Brown. Like you said RxCowboy, they have an incredible amount of talent if judged by the ***** rating system. Brown is going to get some of what Richt went through after UCF and last few seasons of not measuring up.

Think that Muschamp thought he would run into the same situation at Florida with talent stacked on talent. Foley is the AD at Florida, not Texas, entirely different situation.

Foley is the person that prevented Spurrier from returning to Florida. Spurrier was sure that he would be greeted with open arms, Foley's arms were not open. Probably wishes now that he had taken a different position with Spurrier kicking Florida's butt in the Swamp.

No way can you equate the defense of Alabama under Kirby Smart with that of Muschamp at Texas. Kirby Smart is going to be one hell of a great coach. Happy for Richt and his probable 4 yr. extension and big raise. What about Coach Grantham, more concerned about losing him.

With you on the Grantham thinking averagedawg. Guess now we will find out just how badly CTG wants to stay in Athens. He will be offered a head coaching job like . . . . soon. Adams could care less, thinks that those winning seasons are not that difficult to come by. Hope I am wrong, just do not like this feeling I have about Coach Grantham leaving Athens.

Hoping that some remember the time lapsed when we were trying to hire a "serious" defensive coach after WM moved on. Don't feel that the defensive coach for LSU will be heading our way. Chavis and Grantham don't grow on trees, hope we don't find out the hard way.

If Chavis had remained in Tennessee as head coach, not as defensive coordinator, wonder where that program would be today. Too many say that you have to have x amount of experience in the drivers seat to handle the job. Who wants to debate the number of failures using that system. I am willing. Easy to pick the top two or three coaches in the country and say this is what we need.

Richt is choosing to remain in Athens until he decides to leave or call it quits. I don't like the thing about a coach being named as the next leader when the time line is an unknown factor.

I do understand that Chavis, Grantham and others are not the only ones that can coach a solid defense. I do know this, UGA has not shown a lot of know how on the defensive side of the ball prior to Coach Grantham.

Want to win in the SEC, check the two playing for the MNC this season. It has always been that way, and it will not change in the forseeable future. They play defense.
