wlayton, believe with all my heart that we have to run some defensive schemes that "others" have not seen before.

LSU is very aware of Jarvis Jones, might be time for others to have that "big game".

Hoping that Cornelius Washington is ready at this point to get back to where he was.

Truthfully against LSU, would like to see an extra linebacker, not a defensive back in the mix. Grantham knows much better than I do, for sure.

LSU seems to have settled in on a very strong quarterback as their starter. He can throw, but not the best I have seen chunking. Would like to see an extra backer with 220/230 pounds bringing some heat. Just something different.

Really looking forward to this game. Many answers when all is said and done.

Not looking good for DT he's already ruled out for practice tomorrow. I was with about 30 players lastnight in Atlanta celebrating the win and they all said it's not looking good for him but they hope he'll be ready for Saturday. RS was also with me and it's going to be a game time call on him if he can play or not. These guys are ready even though we went out they didn't get in trouble they didn't get "wasted" a couple of the older guys watched out for the younger ones and I was shocked at one dawg for getting on one of the younger guys and reminded him not drink anymore they needed him in the dome and took the drink from him. The older dawg has been the eye of the media latly for being in trouble but after lastnight watching him watch out after the guys turned my opinion around on him.

There was some old dawgs with us too that talked a lot to the guys about the importance of getting focused sunday morning and staying focused all week. Don't be one the social net works don't be going out on dates school football school football school football all week and they will best lsu is what I over heard one dawg telling them.

That is the most encouraging thing I've heard about our leaders in a while,although it must have been going on behind the scenes for longer than we know about,judging by the play the last ten games.

stanger, your post really makes me feel good about this group of players. So much has been said over the past few years about leadership and when you post this kind of information, win or lose, the young pups and the "gray beards" are going to give it their all. Can't ask for anything more than that.

Know that there are a couple of players from Florida that love to hit and will step forward next season.

Also read where Grantham said that Sterling Bailey has caught his eye. Going to be a huge Spring, defensive ends and linebackers are going to be up front and hard to handle. Really like the depth that is being built and the possibilities of the incoming freshmen.

A quote that I particulary like came from Saban. He said that Grantham is one of the very best that has ever coached with him. My opinion, that is high praise.

The East is only going to get better, too bad that Urban Meyer left the gators in such a bad situation. NOT. Muschamp wanted to be a head coach, he is. Watched his post game show on TV today, charisma, none. FSU kicked their butts. He was quick to say that there were few seniors on the gator team, mostly freshmen and sophomores. OK, maybe they will get better, much like the Texas bunch did under Brown/Muschamp. All of the talent in the world of football, and what . . . averagedawg, you got the UT win, some of us down this way got the first of many UGA wins. FACT.

Noon game last Sat.......my question is......what are they doing in Atlanta Sat night having a few cool ones???? Why didn't they go back to Athens?? and I would have thought with the early game, the whole team would have gone back together. If I'm a coach, their butts get back to Athens, then enjoy the win....a LITTLE.

Lol they came back to Atlanta they did go to Athens. and myself made sure they all got home safe. Some of these guys aren't players to me some are like my brothers. I kick it with several of these guys during the off season heck half the time we don't even talk football.

Most of the them stayed at former dawgs houses lastnight a few chipped in together and got hotel rooms.
