Haven't seen or heard anything about DeAngelo Tyson's injury. Bothers me. Have watched him closely since coming to Athens, one of my favorite players. Reason being, talent, most of all his willingness to play team ball. What he did last year rates highly with me. Hope he is able to play in Atlanta, looked real bad when he had both arms around the supporting aides leaving the field. He came back on the field to watch the remainder of the game. That is what Tyson is all about. If you read blogs DeAngelo, this Dawg damn sure has total respect for you. :)

BUMP!
We're gonna need our full arsenal to hang w/LSU. Really hope DT is ok because he's a DGD no doubt!

Buc,

ABH this morning said the medical staff was meeting this morning to check ou DT's injury.

It was not confirmed if it was due to a cut block or not. Keep you posted!

Guess the cut block was on the previous play because the play he came up lame, nobody touched him.

Looked like to me when he took off on the snap of the ball, he hurt his achilles tendon.....man, I sure hope it's not that.....long rehab.

Thanks yankeedawg1. Saw the play and replay, think that another player got "chopped" on that particular play, but not Tyson. This young man came through all of the "bad stuff" that others were causing the team last year and the year before. Tyson had a problem or two, but he is the type of football player that Grantham is/was looking for. If it turns out that he cannot play in Atlanta, will be too bad. Garrison is a really good football player and will step up, appreciate that, just hate to see Tyson go down with what appears to be an injury that prevents healing in a week.

Go Dawgs, big game this coming week in Atlanta. They are good, we are good. Miles will let his players play "loose". Those of you that have played the game know what that means.

We were not settled in the first game against Boise State, experience beat us in my opinion. We have played many games since then, and as we all know, we have had a very, very easy schedule . . . right?

We lost the second game on the scoreboard against South Carolina, after the game was over, Spurrier said they did not win the game, UGA lost the game. I will agree with that. If we look at the score board, South Carolina won. Surprising to me that SS would say that, he however did. Yes I know that he said some things later, can't take back the words he said after watching the game when it was played.

One thing that I do know from watching a lot of SEC football this season. If we spread the LSU defense out, meaning they have to cover 4 or 5 receivers, we can cause problems. I do not believe we can win running tight formations. Also do not like the fact that we have running backs with no experience in "big games". Add to that we are hurting at the running back position or lack playing time.

Spread 'em out, we can cause problems, tight formations, you be the judge . . . . I will watch the game along with the rest of you.

Go Dawgs . . . . spread'em out . . . . :)

You're right Buc, got to spread the field. We are not going to be able to line up in "power" formations and run the ball on their front....WAY to strong.

If the D plays "lights out" and AM has a GREAT game, we have a chance. Hate to put it on AM but he may be the key unless our D shuts them down.....and they may.
