In my opinion the team is winning in spite of CMR and Bozo not because of them.

From a philosophical standpoint, can't say I disagree, but it would do the program a huge disservice when it comes to recruiting to not give CMR an extension. Recruits who are currently interested, and there's a lot of good ones, are coming to the program because they believe in CMR and the staff he has in place.

We as fans don't necessarily agree with all of the coaching/staff decisions, BUT we have momentum on our side and need to continue stockpiling for the future. Those 2013 and 2014 recruits need to know the program is stable.

No disagreement with your post Wartdawg. Not often we catch the gators on the downside in the last twenty or so years. Agree we did this season, and I don't take your post as being negative at all. There are many four and five star players in this state and UF usually has first choice. That I promise you is changing.

Muschamp is not one of them (a gator). While he professes to be a gator, he made one huge mistake . . . he donned the Red and Black. He is a short timer. There will be a high profile coach in Gainesville soon, maybe next season, don't laugh, Jeremy Foley will cut the cord in a flash.

My thoughts . . . Meyer slipped, hope he moves on to Ohio State or Penn State. Might get away with some of the things he "knows" in another conference. Meyer knew his time was up in the second go around with Alabama in Atlanta. Check the record, he started to bail. Those that supported Urban in the beginning became nutbags when SS kicked them in Gainesville.

Another thingy that I need explained to me is how teams are rated. You beat a supposed top ten team, lose to a team that is not in the top twenty five or so and it is all up for grabs. Good example of this is UGA vs. AU. Point spread between number fifteen and number twenty as twelve or thirteen points . . . . what? Coming from a team that was 6-7 and a National Champion.

Folks, my fingers are crossed that Grantham loves UGA.

Cannot disagree with anything you said bulldawg36869. Believe more than once that the talent has been on campus to reach higher levels. One of the reasons for the last two years I have said in many of my posts . . . coach 'em up. The face of the UGA football team changed when McGarity and Grantham arrived to bail out an ailing coaching staff. That is a fact.

Sign Richt to an extension, but with a buyout clause that does not hammer UGA. Also in return give him the out in his contract to do his mission work in a couple of years. Sign Grantham to an extension and pay "The Man". In two to three years if CMR is ready to move on, Grantham will have had time to develop for the added responsibility as HC and step right in. Program doesn't miss a beat and recruiting does not take a big blow.

And that's my brief moment in the world of "If I was AD @ UGA"...
