Brothers, like all of you, have watched a lot of football in my life. Have been involved in watching UGA football any time I could, whether in Sanford Stadium or television or on the road. My high school football coach graduated 1946 and he was a damn good Dawg and made a huge impression on my life.
I understand how some of these players feel about Richt, Grantham and other coaches. I know that feeling, still have it today.
This has definitely been said before . . . . the talent is on campus, a lot more talent is heading our way. I believe that there are going to be a couple of surprises in store for all of us. You folks feel the same way. You win games, under trying circumstances and the cream rises to the top.
Thingy . . . .
Is this a serious group of receivers?

I have to say this one thing, and I've wanted to say it for a while AM is a leader, he reminds me of DG, just doesnt stop playing hard. That group of receivers seems to believe in him and will run thru a brickwall to catch the ball, they might not always catch it right now, but, they are giving one whale of an effort. How about the OL? I am enthused and its the enthusiasm of the front OL thats got me that way. I want them to win, but, I dont think I want them to win nearly as much as they want to win. Its contagious! SIC'EM DAWGS, now sic'em GATA!!!!!!!!!

Totally agree growl. The difference is that this group of young men have IT. Then IT is that something that is not measured on paper or by rating stars. IT is the bond that each player is made stronger and better by his teammate. They don't want to let each other down. They have grown and matured.
Listen to interviews. They talk about not giving up after an 0-2 start. They talk about knowing they could and would get better. About having faith in the coaches and each other. It was a teaching experience for the veteran players and a learning experience for the younger players.
You don't hear all the negative talk nationally about "what happened to Georgia?" You hear that UGA is going to win the east division and play for SEC Championship against LSU or Bama. Now they are saying we have a chance to beat either one. That we are a playing as a complete team
Now that that all players has bought into what is happening with UGA football, this could just be the tip of the iceberg and the next few years could really be exciting.
GO DAWGS!

To Buc's earlier point, the receivers against Auburn were making catches that they were dropping earlier in the year. Bennett is some kind of animal. No corner can be too anxious to line up against that guy.

thriller thought you might like the following comments. Sorry, told you folks before the Abuurn game that I dislike Abuurn. Haven't completely moved on to Kentucky yet. Some victories, and especially what happened in Athens on Saturday are enjoyed by me for longer than most.
What happened to Auburn?
Question asked by an Alabama fan . . .
I want one of the Auburn fans who are always so ready to criticize and analyze Alabama to step forward and tell us what happened Saturday at Georgia. Are they a young team? Were they out-coached? Or were they the victims of an old-fashioned tail-kickin'?
Quote from TextheTiger . . .
Even though I am not always ready to criticize bama here are the answers to "What happened to Auburn?" Yes, yes, and oh hell yes."
