gillette, good read. Always a pleasant ride back to the home forty when we win like this.
AM is a young fellow that thinks he is a running back/linebacker. Getting him to slide just doesn't calculate in his brain mass. What the heck, let him play.
Sure like the use of the word team. That in my opinion has been the game plan that Grantham has used in his short stay. Next man up, no favorites here, playing time is earned on the practice field. Players recognize his (Grantham's) plan and are not wavering . . . a lot of quality athletes yet to play regularly in this defense and they know to be ready.
Like the competition between the kickers, they are not excluded from practice/game performance either.
With the group of Olinemen coming in, some on campus not quite ready, if I am a special running back with thoughts of playing in Sanford Stadium, last evening put me in Red and Black.
Offense looked the best I have seen them look in a long time. Abuurn stacked the box, we went over the top. Excellent plan, and I am getting on Gates wagon big time. Stays true to the JTII over the off season, he will be all that next year.
Huge game, and another thought. Serious receivers (more than one). . . .
Richt should smile, his team of coaches and players performed, that is why he is called the Head Coach. Leadership.
Go Dawgs!!

Picked this up from an AU site. Might not be what Chizik wants to hear, can't help with recruits reading a statement like this from one of the main players.
“We just need to check ourselves and see really where our footing’s at, just figure out what we want to do from here on out,” running back Mike Dyer said. “If we really want to win those last two games, or if we just want to give it up and just quit.
“But I think I know this team better than that.”
Chizik would like to eliminate one of those options Dyer posed.
“They don’t have a choice. We’re going back to work,” Chizik said. “The only choice is the exit sign over the door if they don’t like it.”
