Oh man what a ride home dawgs! Here I sit with a fuzzy head trying put together what I saw lastnight. Don't know all of the stats yet but I saw a TEAM tonight. Key word TEAM!

IC, you may have lost your job. Maybe not, but it's in your head when you wake up this morning. Get tough and please hang on to the pigskin. You need to buy the D breakfast this morning dude.

A D that can and will win championnships. Hats off to ya CTG.

Players that played with heart and that makes me happier than beating the hell out of Auburn 45-7.

Coaches, and I mean Bobo too this time, that gave the players what it takes to win and win big.

CMR, with a smile on you face. What I saw in Sanford Stadium lastnight is what Georgia footbal is all about coach.

MM. You go dawg.

C. Thomas. Thanks for putting everyhting into prospective for IC.

AM. Keep up the good work and thanks for being a true leader and a true Dawg. I still don't know how you're still alive. You have to be toughest QB Dawg Nation has seen in a long time.

The O line. You caught the brunt of most of shotcomings this year and yall hung in there. I would stand in the pocket with you protecting me.

STs. Thanks for not giving up when it was so easy to do so.

The fans. Yall stayed until the end. Go Dawgs.

gillette, good read. Always a pleasant ride back to the home forty when we win like this.

AM is a young fellow that thinks he is a running back/linebacker. Getting him to slide just doesn't calculate in his brain mass. What the heck, let him play.

Sure like the use of the word team. That in my opinion has been the game plan that Grantham has used in his short stay. Next man up, no favorites here, playing time is earned on the practice field. Players recognize his (Grantham's) plan and are not wavering . . . a lot of quality athletes yet to play regularly in this defense and they know to be ready.

Like the competition between the kickers, they are not excluded from practice/game performance either.

With the group of Olinemen coming in, some on campus not quite ready, if I am a special running back with thoughts of playing in Sanford Stadium, last evening put me in Red and Black.

Offense looked the best I have seen them look in a long time. Abuurn stacked the box, we went over the top. Excellent plan, and I am getting on Gates wagon big time. Stays true to the JTII over the off season, he will be all that next year.

Huge game, and another thought. Serious receivers (more than one). . . .:)

Richt should smile, his team of coaches and players performed, that is why he is called the Head Coach. Leadership. :)

Go Dawgs!!

24 Auburn 7 0 0 0 7 . . . . . . 14 Georgia 14 21 3 7 45 :woohoo:

Picked this up from an AU site. Might not be what Chizik wants to hear, can't help with recruits reading a statement like this from one of the main players.

“We just need to check ourselves and see really where our footing’s at, just figure out what we want to do from here on out,” running back Mike Dyer said. “If we really want to win those last two games, or if we just want to give it up and just quit.

“But I think I know this team better than that.”

Chizik would like to eliminate one of those options Dyer posed.

“They don’t have a choice. We’re going back to work,” Chizik said. “The only choice is the exit sign over the door if they don’t like it.”

Watched #99 go after the fumble. That really made me feel good about this football team. Giant of a man would not be denied.

Richt said in his presser that Bobo made the calls in this game. I do not and have never thought Richt would come up short on the truth. That said, my hat is off to Bobo. Don't slip, will be on your case again. ;) As if he cared. :)

Appears to me that the offensive side has settled on the fact that AM can and will do what is necessary to move this team forward. He will not leave early, folks in the NFL don't like "shorties" at quarterback. Ask Drew Brees. Falcon fans on this board will get a good look at DB today. One major difference between Brees and AM is AM has wheels, and will use them, like it or not. :)

Receiving corps is getting scary. All of them. With a quarterback like AM being on campus until he graduates, we could truly become something special.

Richt saluted Grantham again in his press conference. I like that for this reason. Richt knows that Grantham has the right mixture of pp and vinegar along with his total understanding of how to run the D side of the ball. Top it off, the players love the guy.

Looking forward to Vandy/Franklin next season, just as we looked forward to Abuurn/Chizik this season. Sometimes players (and coaches) don't forget previous happenings.

Folks, for the first time in a long time I feel like we are reloading, not rebuilding, that brings loftier goals and expectations and along with that comes championship contention. These players are feeding off of each other, and as gillette said . . . TEAM.

I love football! I love defense! I love the way our offensive line protected against the bad boys from Abuurn. Keep building the O and D lines, the "pretty boys" will come. That was said in the spirit of the . . . . . . .TRUTH. :)

As many have stated, this game, to me, was by far the best performance by a Dawg team since the '07 Sugar Bowl. All aspects of the team performed, including the coaches. I even referred to Bobo as Bobo in another post. I was very happy to see this TEAM show up. If this is a sign of things to come, we should have a bright future. Keep it up, DAWGS!!!!

The SMART era CONTINUES!!!!!!

Everyone in the media will be giving the SEC Championship to LSU. Nobody is going to give us a chance. That should give the D a little extra motivation. In everyone's pregame newspaper stories and all of the blogs, the talk will be just how one sided this game will be. There seems to be a feeling that the entire West is vastly superior to the entire East. Never mind that VANDY nearly beat Arkansas.

I agree with Abuurn's QB Moseley - it's going to be a great game! B)
