I know I'm still a newbie, but this Island thing has me lost...

Good morning ya'll,

I have been quiet last couple weeks due to shoulder surgery and find it hard to type with 1 hand. That being said I was impressed with the youngsters play last week and feel very comfortable with HM as our # 2 QB. He might be as good as AM.

I really believe if the team plays up to their potential and Bozo calls a good game we will win easily. We can just not go conservative when we have the lead.

I know I'm still a newbie, but this Island thing has me lost...

Imo, the 5-6 people on the island are the ones who were the "wait and see how the season plays out" guys. Most of the rest have constantly blasted CMR (over and over and over ) and wanted him gone "yesterday". We all have one thing in common though......Bobo Gotta Go Go.

One poster (can't remember who) "put" us 5-6 people on the island and kinda separated us (all in fun of course). So we established a great island of CMR backers ONLY and I mean ONLY if the we beat UF and finished the season strong. Also we want a new OC as well (catch-22 because if we win out no changes will be made for next year by the AD.....count on that).


Hey yd1.....what did i leave out or am I right with my assessment??? (my memory isn't very good nowadays)

This island you speak of...sounds like a beautiful and majestic place where logic and reason preside over unchecked emotions and hasty decisions. I must admit that there were times in the recent past wehre I lost my "island state of mind" and called for CMR's head...but I like what you're preachin' here Wlayton..

Mayor wlayton, no points missed. Just after the USC game when the fires burned highly, we of the "Island" asked that the season needed to play itself out.

If a coaching change was to happen let be after all this years games have been played.

Seems that may prove out to be our be choice. There was also the subject of drinking the kool-aid, to me that was code for pass another beer.

yd1, that was certainly "our" code for passing another beer. Don't feel we were the Kool Aid type but more of a patient, wait and see what happens, type of fans. Mainly because we feel we have such a good man that represents our University well and hopes that he will get his good coaching days BACK. School's still out but the island people are waiting til the "final bell" rings to decide.


Hey MH.....I thought you were one of the 5-6 that are on the Isle of Paradise??

yd1, wasn't MH one of the ones willing to wait and see? All of us got irate before settling down and thinking a little more rationally.
