From Athens - Game Day Friday # 10

Good Morning All,

This is week 11 of the season.

Warp speed Scotty without question it has been a blur.

Each week has given us a different challenge, suspensions, injuries and in one case the NCAA has kept players off the field.

All the above reasons have made it necessary for us to play a large group of young players. Not always while playing inexperienced players do you continue to win and improve. We have done both. No small accomplishment!

The Nation thanks both our young players and coaches for an outstanding effort. Fruits of this labor will be harvested for several seasons in the future.

What a bonus in recruiting to be able to show a recruit if you have the ability you will play, sooner rather than later.

And now to the business at hand for this weekend.

Assburn –War damn Eagle- Tigers – Plainsmen?

Georgia could tell I was doing some hard thinking about this game.

With the Gator’s she said to put the game in CTG’s hands.

Her question to me was did I feel Auburn’s offense was as good this year without Cam? Or was the their defense as good without Fairley?

No! And No!

She asked is our offense better without AJ – yes greater balance-more receivers for AM to throw to. Better run game. Turnovers down.

Is our defense better in year two of CTG’s – You might say just a little.

Her eyes told me to relax –go get a beer and a treat for her! Life’s good!!!

Good morning. YD you said another mouthful. We will win ugly again and this time it will be ok because it is AU and a chance to get to SECCG. Our offense is going to click like never before! Our D...well we all know what they are capable of. And believe it or not ST will be on track to.

Me and the tailgate gang will be rolling in about 9am. We plan to get to business quick and enjoy a big time SEC victory.

And what a big, beautiful moon you had to bark at last night.

Gonna a be a good one. Almost burned myself with coffee when reading sports page and saw Dawgs -13.5 earlier in the week. Was hoping to make it to this game but will be firing up the smoker in the backyard instead. Hard to believe the season has flown by. Good luck to the Dawgs and safe travels to all making the journey. GATA. GO DAWGS!!

I just checked the odds makers. They're still saying -12.5 to -13, so even with that HUGE point spread to entice people, no one seems to be taking Auburn.

Good morning yd1....

Got the folding chairs, coolers, grill and smokers out on the beach for a big celebration under the crisp, star filled skies we on the island get to see every night. Will be a small gathering of 5-6 of us "crazies" but everyone will be welcome to come. Boats will be available to any and all who love the DAWGS.

Come and enjoy the Isle of Paradise post game celebration........we'll start digging our heels in the sand on Monday in preparation of the UK game. Until then, the cool ones are on the "island crazy DAWGS".
