From Athens - Game Day Friday # 10

If we do go to SECCG, and I feel we will, and by chance win "the Island" which was once a quiet tranquil paradise by most accounts, will be over-run.

I too have wondered what the qualifications were to gain admittance. Now that I know, I should have been swimming in that direction it looks like. By the way....I'm not a very fast swimmer. Hope I make it before all the prime real estate is gone!

I don't think I was ever "put" on the island. My feeling is I'm in favor of winning. If we win with Bobo, then I'll be the only person (other than Mrs. Bobo) on earth saying, "Bobo got the MoJo!". But I do agree with "Bobo got to Go Go" in general. I think we have been winning IN SPITE of the offensive play calling, which means we could probably have a better CHANCE of winning with someone else. "Bobo is a HoBo who ain't got the MoJo, and so he must Go Go". :laugh: I was also one of the guys who said "Richt got to Go Go" if he didn't beat Florida this year, no matter what, even though that doesn't rhyme.

Georgia will win this one because the odds makers can't possibly be so wrong. I still have to believe that AU can cover a 12.5 point spread, though. Our SET (Special Education Teams) will probably set us up to lose this one with a blown kick or punt coverage, or a fake punt that completely mystifies the entire return unit, but no one else on earth. However, our D is STOUT:

TN Dawg.....you were in the boat when we first left for the island. I know you were one of the first "settlers" of the Isle of Paradise. You've been one of our biggest assets on the island, right yd1??

I know I'm still a newbie, but this Island thing has me lost...

Imo, the 5-6 people on the island are the ones who were the "wait and see how the season plays out" guys. Most of the rest have constantly blasted CMR (over and over and over ) and wanted him gone "yesterday". We all have one thing in common though......Bobo Gotta Go Go.

One poster (can't remember who) "put" us 5-6 people on the island and kinda separated us (all in fun of course). So we established a great island of CMR backers ONLY and I mean ONLY if the we beat UF and finished the season strong. Also we want a new OC as well (catch-22 because if we win out no changes will be made for next year by the AD.....count on that).


Hey yd1.....what did i leave out or am I right with my assessment??? (my memory isn't very good nowadays)

Love the Island....Still Watching and Waiting....

Hopefully we will be watching all the way to the SEC TITLE...

Good afternoon my fellow dawg poaters, did ya'll miss me. I to have been away and unable to post for awhile.

Mayor Wlayton, I guess I was the main one that said we'd be 5/7 after the USC loss. I am slowly tring to become a beliver, but as I have stated over and over, I have seen improvement, and the D seems to be hitting hard. I still have concerns about our playing a ranked team, a team with a winning record. As ya'll know, we have not beat a ranked team in some time, not have we beaten a team with a winning record. With that said, I still see a whole different team than years before, and a team that seems to try and find a way to win. Am I on the island, or was a banished . I try not to be so negitive, but I just have to tell it like I see it, until I am proven wrong. If we beat Auburn, a ranked team, a team with a winning record, I will believe that we have turned the corner, and we will become a force to be reckoned with.

Go you hairey dawgs beat the you know what out of them birds or tigers, I hate teams that have to have 2 mascots, must be some sort of idenity problem.
