WD, to me it's this analysis:

1. AU.. average offense.....versus......UGA's stout D
2. UGA's.. just barely above average offense........versus.....AU's weak D (especially against the run)

Combination should equal a 2 TD win.

I agree with #1 and #2 above, but you're forgetting the X-factor... Special teams... Believe they will be important this weekend. Just hope we don't give them life by giving up an onside kick or freaking fake punt... That seemed to be what gave the chickens life and allowed the gayturds to stick around... I want to treat the war chickens like we did the boys from NM state last weekend...

uga.dawgs, you make an interesting point . . . we destroyed NMS last week . . . that's PROOF that it's NOT a willingness issue . . . it's an ABILITY issue . . . coaching, anyone?

Along with turnover ratio, I feel UGAs STs performance will be the tipping point of win or lose. And we all know how our STs play has been this year. Expect to see AU throwing out those trick plays on the O as well.

Also, if we can't keep the screen passes and short passes across the middle covered up, that may be a problem too. I recall our opponents gaining good yardage on those plays this year.

I think if we continue to do well where we have done well and cover these issues I just mentioned, the Dawgs will do fine.

The reason the line is around 12-13 is because a lot of money was being bet on UGA.

Doesn't really mean UGA will win by that amount.. just means a lot of people were betting
on UGA and they have put the line where it needs to be to get offsetting money on Abuurn.

BUT......Vegas comes out the INITIAL betting line and the money flows come in and the line adjusts. Vegas does know what they are doing...they establish the starting point spread.
