If you have not seen the Orson Charles presser, take a look at the link below. Right around the 2 minute mark for special team talk.

So true. Makes great sense to me. If you can pin them to their own end zone and keep them there, which I feel our D can do the least amount of yardage need by our O to score. And with our O that would be a good thing. That is my simplistic view.

One of our biggest issues on special teams this year has been kickoff coverage...I don't understand why we don't either a) have Walsh boot it through the end zone for a touchback every time, or b) put someone out there to kickoff that CAN boot it through the end zone for a touchback every time?

Maybe I'm missing something here, but I'm pretty sure they can't return kickoffs for TD's if they never get the ball...

MH....for whatever reason, we can't kick it through the endzone unless wind aided. Buc said Walsh use to do it all the time in HS but they kick from the 40 yardline.

I have always suspected that this is by design. They honestly believe they can stop the return before it makes it to the 20, hence they don't want to kick it through the endzone and allow the other team to automatically start at the 20 without having to fight for it. Obviously very stupid, but it wouldn't surprise me at all if that is what goes through their minds.

It has been sad watching Blair Walsh transform into Andy Bailey. I wonder if anyonoe has thought to encourage him to speak to a sports psychologist?

I just don't believe we have a kicker that can do it. How about checking with the soccer team......seriously.

Any coach in America would take the 20 yardline everytime......it would be idiotic to think any other way. Neither of our guys can do it without the wind behind them.
