Richt took umbrage with the accusation that Georgia knew about the positive drug tests for Isaiah Crowell, Ken Malcome and Carlton Thomas before the Florida game and put off their suspensions until this week’s game against New Mexico State:"

Somebody isn't telling the truth. If CT and KM suspensions are not drug related then why were they not enforced before the FL game. Had it been academics or attendance it wouldn't have taken days to get results.

Once again someone needs to take control of the UGA program and it isn't Richt.

I don't think anyone's lying...the test was given the Thursday before the FL game and the results came back late Monday. As much as I'm sure he would've liked to, Richt can't suspend players off of suspicion alone...he needed the results back first.

The OP said he knew for a fact that CT and KM suspensions were not drug related.

"Let's get 1 thing straight. Carlton Thomas and Ken Malcolm suspensions are not drug related. Carlton was late to class and is on probation from the beginning of the season when he missed class's. KM I'm not sure of his suspension. I did confirm this with a coach. And if u read the articles it doesn't say all 3 failed the drug test like the one Macon news released today. CT didn't even take a drug test Thursday. I do here Crowell is walking a VERY thin line in Athens. There's 2 tailbacks uga is going hard after this year and next in recruiting."

Some are wise and some are otherwise !

I'm not saying I don't trust someone's sources, but considering the fact that 3 UGA tailbacks
were suspended due to failed drug tests is a headline on our sidebar, on newscasts, and all
over the internets....

Don't you think UGA would want to clear that up and at least say their suspensions were not
drug test related?

That's a pretty big Motzah ball to just leave hanging out there. It severely tarnishes the
players involved reputations much more than suspended for skipping a class would.

One would think they would make a clarifying statement about it, and that they would be
crazy not to clear it up. I can't think of one logical reason why they would be okay just
letting that hang out there as it stands today.

Wart....it's logical that CMR would clear that point up....you're right.
