Let's get 1 thing straight. Carlton Thomas and Ken Malcolm suspensions are not drug related. Carlton was late to class and is on probation from the beginning of the season when he missed class's. KM I'm not sure of his suspension. I did confirm this with a coach. And if u read the articles it doesn't say all 3 failed the drug test like the one Macon news released today. CT didn't even take a drug test Thursday. I do here Crowell is walking a VERY thin line in Athens. There's 2 tailbacks uga is going hard after this year and next in recruiting.

Thanks for the update stanger. Read an article that quoted Richt as saying he truly feels IC feels bad and is committed to doing things "the Georgia way"...any way to tell if CMR is just covering for IC or if he really is trying to straighten up?

stanger, reminds me of last year when we had a couple of backs that were on thin ice. Looks as if history is going to repeat itself unless this young fellow can come to his senses.

Richt knows that he has a diamond in the rough, feel that is one reason that he is so supportive of IC. Sad part of this story is everyone wants IC to man-up. Only thing stopping Crowell is Crowell. Appears to me that he brought his BMOC attitude with him thinking he had Richt's total support. It will come down to someone other than Richt and Crowell, there are folks further up the ladder that can put an end to this type of attitude or attitudes.

Time for all involved to take a serious look . . . . I have the same feeling that you do about thin ice and I think it is time for thin ice for maybe one player and maybe one coach. This program needs some structure.

Buc, good thoughts. I may be wrong, but here are my two pennies worth: I don't think IC will be here in two years. History tells me that a kid suspended 2 times in his 1st year, it just keeps getting worse.

As far as Thomas, he needs to be suspended rest of the year--he is a veteran, and already had one issue earlier this year. He knows better.

Bobo/CMR: DON'T use Smith/Boykin on offense saturday. They need rest for the NEXT game. Rotate Figgins, Ogletree, Harton, and anyone else. Run Nick marshall in wildcat 15 times if you have to---do NOT throw it much (I'm assuming these RB's saturday have no blcoking practice at all. Carry it 55 times for 180 yards if we need to, and win it 23-7. I don't want murray hit b/c a walkon RB messes up on a blitz

Yeah, like maybe use our fullbacks, to like, you know, run the ball once in a while.

For about 4 weeks I've been saying that we wont give the ball to a FB on a run because we fear
that 11 men on the opposing line of scrimmage and about half the opponents coaching staff would
drop dead from shock.
