And while there was something not very satisfying about that game (we made beating a poor team look too difficult), it was a WIN over the GAYest of the GAY-tors! Muschimp broke his promise to that little girl earlier this year . . . he guaranteed a win. Perhaps their 17-3 lead makes that part a little sweeter . . . after all, that little girl was probably having the time of her life until Samuel IV put it in the end zone. His guarantees - his WORD - now mean NOTHING.

I'm still with duck on this point though . . . South Carolina will still win out and keep us out of Atlanta. And I still say I'm not all that disappointed about that. Let THEM go get their tails kicked in instead of US. Anyone here remember what Bama did to Florida? What LSU did to Tennessee? Either of those teams would mop us up quick.

But none of that for now. I'm still happy . . . CMR and the DAWGS are now 6-0 in their last 6 games, having out-scored their opponents in each game! They are also 5-0 in their last 5 SEC games.

And now the streak we have with Florida is 1-0, baby!

Thriller, glad the bag is gone! hope you can breathe better now. I will take that ugly win. Looked a lot like last years game.

I have to admit....I was close to walking out of the stadium before halftime. I said to myself that if it got to 21 - 3 I was gone. Sure glad things changed for the better. Not too happy with the way we played, but we won. D really saved our bacon in second half only allowing 3 pts.

What was up with DB. Looked like we were kicking it away from returns, but they seemed to have good starting position most of second half. And BW needs to go!

I'll be critical of Richt and Bobo-head later. But not this week. This entire week I'll be wearing my UGA duds to work and making everyone want to puke.

i'll disagree on one thing. i want to play in the sec title game. my goal is for the team to go as far as possible. win or lose. don't back down.

whos to say we can't have that magical night with our defense? cemeteries are filled with "teams who can't lose". how many teams have we put on that pedestal? hundreds.

remember USC as 35 point fav to Stanford 4-5 years ago????? bam.

10-2 in the title game. more national exposure. it will lead to 1-2 more big time recruits picking us--win or lose.

IF lsu beats bama (which i think will happen), and ARK beats LSU, ARK represents the west. we can handle that tiger.

Way to think positive BulldogShannon! I agree w/your LSU vs. Bama pick & I really like the thought of a Dawgs vs. Hogs Title Game. But first things first, gotta beat the Plainsmen & the Blue Kittens before focusing all of our HATE on the NATS!

If LSU beats BAMA and Ark beats LSU plus the fact that BAMA beat Ark......wouldn't it go down to the tiebreaker point of the highest ranked team (since none lost to the East etc, all only had 1 loss in the West)? In that case it could be BAMA again if they had barely lost to LSU because they THUMPED Ark. We had a 3 way tie a few years ago and went to Atlanta because we were the highest ranked team.

My understanding is if there is a 3 way tie and and the lowest ranked of those two teams is not within 5 places in the polls, then it is head to head. If ARK beats SC while LSU beats Bama, Arkanasa will be ranked ahead of Bama. Then, if Ark beats LSU, that would make ARK the highest ranked team of those three. Could open the door for ARK to be more than 5 spots ahead??
