My Thoughts on Florida

Other than that, (I hate using this phrase, BUT...) play "bend but don't break" on special teams, run a power-based, clean and concise offensive strategy with a balance of runs and "high percentage" throws from AM and we should at least put ourselves in position to win at the end of 60 minutes. GO DAWGS!!!

I guess I have a better outlook this year for som reason. But looking back at my entire adult life, UF has dominated us and it's really hard to get too optimistic going into Saturday.
Instead of trying to find a way to lose the game, I hope they find a way to win this year and many to come.
Go DAWGS GATA!

Todd Grantham is coming off the heels of having verbally pimp-slapped James Franklin. Say what you want about bad PR for the University, say what you want about public apologies, but I promise you this: CTG's D is FIRED UP. They've been sitting on a hot burner for two weeks waiting to redeem themselves, and I think they'll be ready against the Gators on Saturday.
If Georgia does not win Saturday, Mark Richt will be jobless on Sunday. It will be that quick. These Dawgs know that, and you combine their fire for CTG with their fire for keeping their head coach, it might be 2007 all over again. Except I don't think Florida's going to score 30.
Georgia 45, Florida 17.
dapolla, have stayed off of the board for a few days, wanting to read what others have to say. Impressive, really do like much of what many of the newer members have posted.
After reading this thread, could not stop myself from posting this link. Trying to keep some of the negative talk from being uttered by me, however this needs to be posted. Maybe some have not seen this. Just goes to show that maybe Grantham had reasons for his outburst. Many on this board understand that Grantham has only helped the Red and Black. Occasionally gets a little po'd, who doesn't. One last thing . . . . when anyone starts showing disrespect to our service folks, hits a damn nerve in this old body. No reason for Franklin acting like this, will cost him in Athens for sure next season.

Buc, thanks for posting this story...
Franklin's true colors will continue to come out. He tried to drag the DAWGS down to his level. If you give someone enough rope, they will hang themselves sooner or later... For Franklin, I hope it is sooner.

Gets pretty doggone low in my way of thinking when you pull the stuff that Franklin did against the true patriots. He is trying to duplicate what Chizik did when he first took the job at Auburn. Come in with a big splash, get noticed and the young folks will come their way.
Stewart, offensive center for Vandy was called for two personal fouls against South Carolina. Works that way when you are short on talent. Said in an earlier post, looking forward to Stewart/Franklin and Vandy in Athens next season. Bet Kwame's family will be there.
Back to the game at hand. Florida coaches are going into the game looking to win, appears that we are looking not to lose. There is a difference.
Personnel wise, two teams are basically equal, and even though it is a "road game" appears that we (UGA) are 1.5 point favorites. What does that say to me? Good game plan, we win.

How can you tell the difference between a Harvard grad and a Vanderbilt grad?
The Vandy grad wears his class ring in his nose.

Why not? He did it to Zook the day after the Gators lost to MSU in 2004...
