From what is being reported on ESPN today it seems that Brantley thinks it was imperative for him to make it back in time to play Georgia, since his dad and uncle played for the gaytors. I think the Dawgs need to give him an appropriate reception since he seems to believe that he is that important to that group of losers. GO DAWGS!!!!!! GATA

Brantley will start, but the adrenalin will wear off quickly...he won't make it out of the first quarter. His games before getting hurt were FAU, UAB, TN, and KY...he hasn't seen a defense with our combo of size/speed yet.
Even if he is fully recovered from the ankle, he'll have some rust on him...any lack of decision-making and/or hesitancy on his part and Jarvis, Cornelius, Tree, etc will smell blood in the water and have him running for his life.
In my opinion, it makes no difference who the QB is...if we keep their speedy playmakers from getting to the outside and don't fall for the big/trick plays on special teams, we should have a pretty good game.
This game will be won or lost on the 6-inch playing field between the players ears. For either team it's gonna come down to defense and further than that, it's gonna come down to the discipline on defense. Both sides will be completely jacked up...the defense that plays smart, maintains assignments/lanes, and keeps the play in front of them will win...hope I'm not being too optimistic, but my money's on Grantham.

I think our D will play well enough to win.
I think our O will play well enough to win.
I hope our ST will play well enough to avoid blowing it for the D & O.

wartdawg, that's probably the most logical and succint pre-game analysis we'll see all week...anywhere.

To me, very simple.
Don't turn the ball over, they can't beat us.

I like it wlayton.
No sense in making it overly complicated, because it's usually not.
