Brothers, averagedawg, ogredawg, growl and DawgnLA, getting late, you folks are the only ones that I see posting tonight. Give me this . . . . averagedawg you know how much I want this one for you. ogredawg, you know your "stuff" going with 12 instead of 14. Can't mess around with you folks from the Valdosta area, going with 12. Also like #6, think he is ready to do what you said before he put the Red and Black on. Tennessee folks are not going to like 99 and 6 when this show is over.

growl, you, Wartdawg, TN Dawg, WoodstockDawg, Mike Honcho mean so much to this board, smart, understand and know how to move around comments. Best group of players this old fart has seen come around in a while.

Soon we will have the folks from Florida coming in and I think we have our game plan in place. Meaning, this could really get uncomfortable for the UF bunch messing with you folks.

Proud to be a part of this. averagedawg, AllDawgs5, DawgnLA and TN Dawg will be with some folks from Gainesville, Tampa, Miami and Tallahassee, so my weekend will be hopefully . . . .
:) :) :) :) :) :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Edit: Happy Early Birthday DawgnLA

Thanks guys. Hoping to get a Dawgs domination for my birthday present. buc, think you are spot on about 6 and 99. Have a feeling the storyline will be about UT's ineptitude on OL. They looked pitiful against the Gator. Think our DL is better. Want to see our team and coaches show no mercy in this one.

Brother, hope you are right, and have no reason to believe that we don't take this game. This is not Boise State we are faced with. Much talk about quarterbacks . . . . have watched this young man from Tennessee, when it gets hot in that pocket, can't run . . . . 3 intercepts this game. FACT. Bed time for the old fart. :)

Thanks Buc..

In another thread, I said something about conquering the
environment. I suppose the environment can be looked at as Neyland stadium, but it's actually quite more than
that. It's an SEC road game at night. It's a game where
we can establish a benchmark for this years team. It's
a game where we can make a statement. It's many
things that fall under the realm of the word environment, but the most important aspect of it is much more than
stadium noise.

It's precisely the kind of game situation where UGA has
come up small for the past couple of years. We all know
the battles we must win. The O-line must be able to
maintain it's performance in the 2nd half. The D must
continue to show that what we have seen in the past
few weeks. We also have one more battle to be won.

We must win an internal battle. We must conquer that demon within that has permiated the past few seasons.
That thing that has made us wilt under the pressure of
a big game. That thing that has made us crack when
when faced by hostile surroundings. That thing that
has made us crumble when things don't roll our way.

This may not be the biggest game of the season. In fact,
I'm almost certain it wont be, but it will be the biggest game so far on the road to recovery. There are battles
we all know must be won. We have the talent to be the
better team on Saturday night, but sometimes we face
a bigger confrontation: A confrontation with ourselves.
We've got to know this game is ours. I'm not talking
about pre-game exuberence. I'm talking about what
happens when you are punched in the mouth. I'm talking about what you do when you throw that first seemingly
crucial interception. I'm talking about what you do when
you have that first chance to say here we go again.

When that happens, you either rise up.. or you let it overwhelm you. We've got to know we can win when
the first whistle blows, and we've got to know we will
win even when we take that punch in the nose that
staggers us.

Make your choice Dawgs... GATA
