Give me this . . . . averagedawg you know how much I want this one for you. ogredawg, you know your "stuff" going with 12 instead of 14. Can't mess around with you folks from the Valdosta area, going with 12. Also like #6, think he is ready to do what you said before he put the Red and Black on. Tennessee folks are not going to like 99 and 6 when this show is over.

growl, you, Wartdawg, TN Dawg, WoodstockDawg, Mike Honcho mean so much to this board, smart, understand and know how to move around comments. Best group of players this old fart has seen come around in a while.

Soon we will have the folks from Florida coming in and I think we have our game plan in place. Meaning, this could really get uncomfortable for the UF bunch messing with you folks.

Proud to be a part of this. averagedawg, AllDawgs5, DawgnLA and TN Dawg will be with some folks from Gainesville, Tampa, Miami and Tallahassee, so my weekend will be hopefully . . . .
:) :) :) :) :) :woohoo: :woohoo: :woohoo:

Edit: Happy Early Birthday DawgnLA

Thanks for the kind words Buc...I love the fact that I've found a group of folks that not only have a like passion for all things Bulldawg, but that understand the game of football and constantly challenge me to think about the direction of our program week in and week out.

That being said, don't know why, but I have a "feeling" about this week. I feel like we might see a bit of a rebirth along our offensive line. As noted in past posts, minus Jones and Cordy, we're young upfront. However, those young pups have now been tested by fire against SEC competition, and have come through relatively unscathed. We've had the size advantage all along...this week we see the same changes in our young offensive line that we've been seeing in our "D" over the course of the season. Young linemen are learning their roles and understanding their place in the gameplan better with each game/practice. Knowing your role breeds confidence...add confidence and a bit of Jones "nasty streak" to well over 300 lbs of JT-bred strength and the opposing "D" finds out quickly they've picked a fight with the wrong dawgs. I see wide-open spaces for IC and well-defined passing lanes for AM in our future fellas. IT'S TIME TO BREAK OUT THE HOBNAIL BOOTS...GO DAWGS, GATA!!!

Make or break time.
Put up or shut up.
I don't even want to hear any contender talk if we lose this one.
CMR going for 100, ironic, the most important game he's had at Georgia.
I am very nervous.

I think O-lines with nasty dispositions are the ones you want.

Bring the nasty back to the trenches across the board. It's not enough to just make the
block. Make the block in such a manner it ends with the D lineman flat on his back with
300+ landing on top of him, and see if he still wants to get back up off the ground in
the 4th quarter.

God Bless and Go Dawgs

I am still nervous about the OL, but really hope they begin to show some maturity and brute strength, and begin to push people around for 4 quarters.

IF that happens IC has an incredible game, as does AM. IF IC has big numbers, then the passing game should do fine as well. Again all of this is IF!! The OL has been the weak link the last two games in the second half, hopefully as others have stated the OL will have a breakout game.

I don't think our D will allow UT's O to score enough points to beat us. UT's stats are from playing Montana, Cinci, and Buffalo, we have played the SEC 2 out of the last 3 weeks, our D should be ready! I really feel the only way we lose is if we give the ball away.

PROTECT THE BALL = WE WIN!!!

averagedawg I am with Mike and wlayton on this one. If wlayton is right, IC going north of 150, there is no reason to be nervous outside of the usual butterflies prior to that good lick.

I hope they throw the ball all over the field, we win that battle, improves our chances in JAX.

Young Pups have not heard anywhere near the noise in previous games that they will hear Saturday night. Hope that AM and the others can get through that, if so, as ogredawg said, we win by 12. ogredawg and Buc said that . . . .
