My brother lives near him in Athens. Great neighbor.
He is a truly nice guy, a true gentleman.

I was at all of those games!...The 84' game with Butler -v- Treadway was awesome. Loudest I ever heard it in Sanford. That was my sophomore year at UGA...

You can tell that listening to the audio clip of the call.

So many memorable calls, but there is something special about "we just crushed their face", lol

I don't think anyone had ever heard anything like that before, and I have doubt that they ever will.

I have never heard in my lifetime aperson who could convey to you what the feelings were on the field as well as Larry. You might as well be looking at it from his description. Get well soon. We all need to hunker down for Larry.

I always listened to the radio with the TV on mute. The biggest call Larry ever made that I remember hearing live was against Auburn in 2002: "Touchdown! Oh, God, a touchdown! In the corner!"

I remember the radio coming through before the television signal and jumping up and down as the ball was being snapped. Definitely tops on my Georgia Moments list as far as listening to Larry goes.

We love you, Larry. Hunker it down one more time.
