I think you have always been a CMR supporter if I am not mistaken. I seems all of last year you kept defending him. What do you see that 15 or 20 of us on this site do not. How can you not put blame on CMR, this is the 4th year that he has had time to turn this program around. From what I see, we are no better off, no stronger, in no better shape than before. We still have the same 3 or 4 plays on offence, and our defense can not stop the short passes over the middle. I mean how a a receiver be wide open on every single play. You very seldom see our receivers wide open, don't you think we could take a few pointers from the other teams defense.

Why do you believe in CMR so much, is it because you are a religious man and like CMR for his morals. If that is your case, you want see UGA win many mre games I promise you that. Whether you want to believe it or not, CMR has lost interest in coaching, but he will not quit. CMR will stay here and do just has he has until someone gets the guts to fire him.

This is just my opinion and I am not tring to say you are wrong, but just tell us what makes CMR such a great asset to you.

I didn't want to get into a debate about the coaches but it looks like that is where the fan base is at. First I am the furthest thing from religious. I like CMR because he runs a relatively clean program. In this day and age I am willing to forgo a NC instead of selling our souls to the devil to get one. I look at Auburn, Miami, Ohio St. and Southern Cal and am glad we aren't them. I hear everyone wax poetic about Saban and Alabama but then look at the over-siging and how he cuts kids from the team like they are expendable cattle and am glad we aren't them. Parents send their kids to play for CMR because of this. We are not that far removed from Jan Kemp. The garbage that was going down on the team during the Donnan era was atrocious. CMR has proven to me that he can be successful and still run a clean program. Am I disappointed right now? Yes. Do I believe it can be fixed under CMR? I believe yes. We are one game into the season and everyone wants his head on a pike at the gates of Sanford. I'm not ready to go there yet. Don't get me wrong....we turn in another season like last year and sure I'll be in the mob with a pitch fork and torch with the rest of you. I'm just not willing to go there YET.

They had 9 months to change, didn't happen, too late to change now.......they can't and won't change on the fly, Bobo Gotta Go Go doesn't know how.....and at this point, I don't believe CMR knows how either.

Long season, we're done.

I agree on using the fullback position more -- why don't we move Samuel there, instead of expecting him to succeed where he's failed before? I agree on the short passing game and using tight ends. Also, did we throw even one play to Crowell out of the backfield? I didn't think so.

And, boys, what's with the false starts? Seriously. How many were there, 500?

What happened with the false starts is that we are an undisciplined team.

That is nothing new at all, and dates back to when Richt actually won a
few games.

Like getdown11, I've not been on the fire CMR bandwagon but it's getting to a point where I'm questioning my own judgement. The 1st person that needs to be sent to the curb to an awaiting taxi is Bobo. I've said that for years now. Mark Richt not letting him go by now is justification enough to send him and Bobo to that same taxi.

Everyone (or most everyone) in Dawg Nation can see that Bobo is a major factor in the decline of the UGA football program. So why is he still there Coach Richt?

gillette, think it was ogredawg that made mention of Buck Belue in the following paste.

Guess he is still in Athens because it has become apparent the "good old boys" are sticking together. Richt likes to hold onto his hires, releasing them does not put much of a shine on the apple and his choices for leaders.

Belue calling folks knuckleheads . . . . everyones fault on the offensive side of the ball but Bobo. As offensive coordinator, would think he would be very involved in offensive linemen recruiting. Oops, maybe that is the problem in that area also and just now figured the problem out.

'Dogs Have Slipped Up Front
Must admit, I'm am tired of watching the 'Dogs get beat up front. Can't remember the last time we won that battle against a legitimate opponent. And this could be the downfall of the Richt era.
Any decent coach would tell you that if a team loses the battle up front, it's going to be a long day.
Georgia has plenty of impressive skill position players. And in spite of the knuckleheads that want to continue to blame things on Coach Bobo, skill position players can't show off the talent, unless they get turned loose, by the dudes up front.
We've got problems on the O-Line.
Ben Jones has a reputation for being mean and tough, but is he knocking anyone off the ball? Not. Anderson is a liability at RT, but he's the only option right now. Chris Burnette should be getting groomed to take Jones spot at center next season, not starting at RG. Glenn thrived at guard, but at OT struggled against a top DE (McClellin). Got to hope he bounces back this week in a big way. Gates got rolled up on and hurt his ankle against the Broncos. It's doubtful he can be strong a week later.
No wonder Searels ran off to Texas.
As far as the recruiting of offensive linemen go...we've missed on a truck load of guys. Some guys got hurt. Others left. We never got in on some guys. It's simply disappointing. A program like Georgia should be lining up OL talent.
Check out teams with good O-Lines. Full of upperclassmen, who earned their way to the starting line-up. Got redshirted as a freshman. Hit the strength program for a couple of years. paid some dues as a back-up. Then, move into the starting role as a junior or senior. Not us.

gillette, if Richt gets in the taxi with Bobo, I will pay the taxi fare. Belue should not be allowed near the UGA players, and if I am a Ben Jones, might have to have a "friendly conversation" with Buckky Boy.
