SCar

Okay, on to the next debacle.

I'm concerned that with CMB's 3 play playbook, we're going to get beaten here simply because there is little by way of threat to the SCar defense. Also, the O-line couldn't handle BSUs defensive front, so I think AM spends a good part of the day on his back. When SCar has the ball, they shred our secondary like a pitbull on a t-bone, with our saving grace being Stephen Garcia's inaccuracy as a QB. Bitterly, I'm saying SCar wins this one 24-10...hoping to Dooley I'm wrong.

Quite frankly, it doesn't even matter what size our playbook is, our OL is a Div.II OL. They couldn't keep me out of their backfield. So it doesn't really matter what we call, if you can't block, you can't win.

If I'm IC, I'm kicking myself for not going to BAMA and run behind their OL.

I imagine most of our dream team wishes they gone some where else after last night. I watched the SC/EC game, and I thought SC look OK in the first half, then they came to like and they scared the hell out of me. JC looks to be unstoppable on the end. I am really worried about AM, he was chased and sacked 6 times last night. I do not see any way possible for our less that avg OL to block any of the SC defense. We will not even be able to score a field goal. The only way we score is punt return if we can stop them, or kick off return. If we could, we'd be better off just to forfit this game to keep AM form getting hurt. I am dead serious, if any one on this board after last night, thinks we have a 3% chance in winning, I got some beach property in Gatlinburg I'll sell cheap. USC 63 UGA 0.

Those supposedly in the know are predicting Tree out for 4 to 6 weeks. Hard sometimes for players trying to come back after an injury like that.

Spell it out or let me suggest this . . . . think if I am right Tree could be redshirted this year. Some of you younger folks know more about the rule book than I do. If allowable, if I am running the team, Tree comes back next season.

Don't mess up your future right now young man. Know that you want to play, evident by the way you play, just be smart, heal, come back next season on a mission and a new coaching staff.

Jarvis Jones seems to think that the "true" backers of UGA football are out of bounds when we speak up about the Richt coached football team.

Sometimes young man folks make bad decisions and pay the price. I seem to recall a young linebacker going to Southern Cal, UGA was not good enough for him. Wanted to play football for a top flight school.

Richt opened the opportunity up for you, so Jarvis I do understand loyalty. Allow me this if you will . . . . we, the fans that you Facebooked about have stuck with Richt since 2001. Think about that when you tweet or facebook. We are more about team play than individual protection.

Many have tried to get Richt's attention for the past several years, and the answer we get is, I know what I am doing, as the car goes off of the cliff.

Jarvis, South Carolina comes to Athens next Saturday. Our football team has something to say, say it between the Hedges, not on Facebook or tweeting. Maybe South Carolina will slow the play down, keeping this off-season vaunted UGA defense with some air in their lungs.

IC came to Athens in order to go to the NFL after 2 seasons like Moreno.

Sure he had no idea it might be this bad, but he knew coming here he would get
playing time immediately. That wasn't a sure thing if he went to 'Bama. It happens
to be that Saban.. no matter how talented a runner he might be.. tends to wait
until the player can do something other than completely whiff on pass protection.

Plus 'Bama also has some competition at the spot. He would be looking up at someone
with more talent than Samuel if he had gone there. Saban could have afforded to wait
on IC to develop some of the more nuanced skills of the position.
