Do you think Oklahoma State would be willing to throw their wrestling program (best all time) under the bus in order to join the SEC?
Wrestling is an important consideration, and the SEC doesn't have any wrestling programs. The wrestling team could 1) survive as an independent, or 2) join another conference for wrestling only.
I don't think the needs of the wrestling program would stop OSU from joining the most powerful and richest conference in the nation. The wrestling could still stay inj the big12
