From Athens- "Prove It"

Good Morning All,

Much like those who live in Missouri “The Show Me State” we of the Bulldog Nation want to see the proof that there has been changes made so we do not have another train wreck losing season.

We are looking for proof that:

CMR has found his coaching mojo

CTG and staff have a future and a leadership role in the SEC

Results not excuse from the coaches-Coach Them Up!!

John Jenkins will be the guy in the middle, along with KG

IC can and will overhaul our running game

CWF will take a very green and thin OL and turn it into the hit show known as the “Miracle of Sanford Drive”

That our secondary does not have as many holes as the “Titanic”

Our defense front seven are truly “Magnificent”

The “Dream Team” play and contribute as freshmen

CTJ and is S&C program will prove effective under game conditions

Our new AD can/will be as successful at UGA as he was at UF.


We will know the answers starting Sept.3rd . I am ready…and feel that we will see a very different effort and results from our "Dawgs" this fall.

The coaching staff at UGA have every reason to believe this edition will perform much better than the previous one.

Another top 10 class.

One of the top running backs in the country if you rate by stars.

Headache running back that led the Dogs is now at Jacksonville State. Won't have to compete for his position for the next two years. Some work, some play.

Second year in the new defensive alignments. Not just the 3/4, CTG is running his variations on the 4/3 and other sets.

True Dogs never, ever allow Gators to point their fingers in the fourth quarter and laugh because they are watching Dogs gulping air. Erk is still rolling. CJTII must and will put an end to that.

Agree with the "show me" yankeedawg1. Roaming the internet, see a lot of snickers and giggles from the backers of Boise State. Boise State is the first "show me" that I want to witness. As far as I am concerned, it will be a home game in Atlanta, check the colors in the seats. No damn excuses, play.

AD McGarity did not come home to make the mistake(s) that our previous AD did. I see good Irish Strength in our leader. Think the coaching staff knows that they have a friend, they do not want him to be otherwise. I am sure he would not hesitate to show the back of his hand.

Good Morning yankeedawg1, you continue to impress. Many good thoughts and answers in your thread. Keep those good thoughts and hopes for those folks in Tuscaloosa, the storms are gone . . . . so is most everything else they had in this world.

here's my small take, very simple actually.

1. believe 50% of our problem has been the S&C

2. believe 30% has been lack of good coaching

3. believe the other 20% has actually been our LOUSY play of our Safeties. Can't ever under estimate that position.....imo......cost us many games.

wlayton- excellent take aways- you are dead on,pardon the pun. If you are bent over sucking all the air you can and are also beat to death it does not mater your skill level as you won't be able to make a play. I might even up that to 65 %.

Safeties for me are a two prong problem- can't tackle and can't cover. I will lay off 5% on coverage due to the lack of a pass rush.

Buc - Of all the possible weal links Mac is the least of our past problem. He will get the problems fixed. Sooner rather than later.

wlayton- as YB says the pay cash which is almost as good as money!!

I can also remember you making a call that 2011 just may turn out to be a year to remember unlike 2010 which we all would love to for get. Be sweet to hear the F/L singing again !
