Board Members Step Up . . .

I like our chances, but only because we finally get a week off in the schedule before the game. We haven't won without a week off prior since the 1980's. Florida has WISELY scheduled a week off in most years prior to JAX.

I sure hope I'm wrong, but our lack of receiving talent is really bothering me. It LOOKS like the OL can plow a path for IC, but with the exception of OC, I can't find a receiver in the bunch to get excited about. Figgins in the backfield gives us another option for passing, and I'm sure they're dialing up some "linebacker nightmares" with him in mind. But Boise State looms large well before JAX. I don't think Richt will be in Jacksonville unless we win the first two games.

Remember how we questioned last year about AM... Buc so wisely said don't worry about AM he will be fine. I have stated that rather having a super star receiver we will have several who will provide AM capable targets. Artie Lynch is a beast in waiting, OC will blossom even more. He has star power. wlayton's man thinks there is nothing special about MB. Me I love the way he runs routes and is sneek'n fast. Not sprinter speed but knows how to get open. He has very good hands and can move the chains. Like KD last year no fear over the middle.In the speed department look for BB to play more on "O". Figgins on a screen pass the way he runs down hill will net us a basket of first downs. BSU will be Act one with USC being Act Two a week later.

Believe T. King is going to have a break out year. Looks very "natural" to me running routes and catching the ball.....a mini-AJ. Watch for him this year, my prediction is he's our leading receiver this season.

Also wacth for Lynch especially near the goal line....may be automatic TD....VERY hard to stop any pass to him when the 10 yard range.
