I don't read much into these games except energy/intensity.
I think we will win ten games this year.
Any more is gravy.

i feel the same way. its hard to judge you good you will be by playing against yourself. but there is something about this team that really gets me excited. maybe its the BIG guys we have up front ;) if we can get by 1st 2 weeks without a loss. we could definitely run the table. Im calling 10 wins though, but we take revenge on the chickens. And im loving the bye week before florida!

Afternoon to all,

Spoke with the folks in Green Cove Sprgs and there is not much Wow coming from UF's spring practice. I heard the same from my old gang in Chattanooga about the hated pumpkin people from Knoxville. Both said that from what they are hearing there has been a change in Athens and the fire is back in the "Dogs". Most say it is our new AD who has made it clear about what needs to be done. CMR is following his lead. CTG "D" is also talked about highly outside of Athens.

I like the makeup of this team and what Father Joe has brought to the table. "Go Dawgs "

Go Dawgs!

yankeedawg1, there is a considerable amount of talk down this way about SEC football in general. People here are beginning to wonder about the next championship. Some here think that it should be automatic.

Meyer turned tail and ran, FACT, knew that he was on the downside of what he understands about college football. All of these 3/4's coming in and he did not have an answer for them. He still might be able to take over at theOSU and do the same thing he did upon arrival at UF, however chances are he would have to play an SEC school.

Anyway, as I have said before, have friends from UF and FSU, and FSU is another reason that UM packed it in. FSU has been able to sign the best in the last couple of years in this state. They are for real, if they don't trip over their own feet and get in trouble again. (Little pun there).

Florida folks are not real loud right now, privately they are not real sure what is going on in Gainesville. Muschamp has to be really good right from the start, if not, his background will cause him some problems. UF fans are not a patient bunch. Less patient than UGA fans at this point in time. They have reveled in National Championships, and now expect no less. They still forget that Mullen went to Miss State. The demise of Meyer and UF.

Going to say it again . . . the time is right for UGA to make a statement in JAX. If we don't come away from Jacksonville with a win, I would venture to say that changes are imminent. I also think that everyone concerned with UGA football knows that, everyone close to the program. Lots of talent roaming the campus in Athens, too much talent to lose there again. Richt made the statement in the last few days that he would like to see the game moved to Atlanta. What the hell, Miss State, South Carolina entered the Swamp and kicked butt. Keep your butts in JAX and PLAY SEC FOOTBALL. McGarity has lifted most if not all of the obstacles that were in the coaching staffs way.

Just a thought . . . .

:)
