Living here I understand the win in Jacksonville or Richt is gone mentality. It is what it is.
averagedawg got some redemption this past season. Thankful for that. Hope that we kick their a$$ again in Knoxville.
The folks that live outside the borders of Florida have no idea what it is like being a Dawg in Florida. Truthfully, does not make a difference, pi$$ on them. Folks in Florida do not understand that Urban Meyer left them because he knew that there was a change on the horizion. He escaped this season, but now UF has been left hanging.
Defense is one thing, offense is another. The coach that had carried Urban Meyer for many years left a high profile school like Florida and did what . . . . . took the job at Miss State, and then did what in the SWAMP. . . .
Folks, Meyers' coaching career is over, he knows that. He had a simple little twist on the offensive side of the ball, came to Florida that is loaded with football talent and did what . . . found a quarterback that was the Diesel Engine pulling 10 cars because of his strength down the track.
Meyer also had a quarterback that was chosen in the NFL Draft before the Super Bowl quarterback for Green Bay tomorrow. Smith plays for San Francisco or should I say is on their roster. UM does not understand pro style play. That is one of Coach Richt's strengths, not sure why he has let that get away.
Guess what I am trying to say is this . . . . if Spurrier, Mullen, Saban and others can win against Florida . . . . why can't we. They kick UF's butt in Gainesville and we can't beat them in JAX. While Coach Richt might win against everyone on our schedule, the three that I want to beat are . . . . South Carolina, Tennessee and Florida. I know that I left some out. Tennessee is now under a Dooley, South Carolina is under a pea head, (from Tennessee originally) and I am damn sure not wanting an EX-UGA FOOTBALL PLAYER that said UF was the job that he wanted more than any other beating us in JAX. PUT THAT ON THE DAMN BOARD!!!
wlayton, again agree with the old fart that you met up with when you were working out today. Beat UF or . . . . . cards are on the table for me. Coaches are here (need a couple more) players are here . . . . what is the hold up in JAX?
Go Dawgs!! . . . Coach 'em up . . .
