(btw...not to change directions too much but I was just at the gym and talked to a "Big in the Know" older gentleman DAWG and he said after this signing class, if CMR doesn't beat UF, he's GONE)
wlayton, not going to beat Coach Richt the recruiter up at this point, and understand that you aren't either.
It makes sense to me that we "supposedly" had a better class that UF. May or may not come into play this coming season. I bet yes.
I have been on my knees hoping we get JJ. We did.
We have AM at QB. Not too many better, and hope he learned a lesson last year in JAX. Young man is not dense.
We recruited the media's choice top RB in the nation, and I can pretty much agree. IC.
Top DE at his place on the line, not counting Clowney.
Returning offensive line that has experience, won't say best in the country, SEC experienced. SEC experience means a lot. One old farts opinion.
We have LB's and DB's on campus that are not good, they are very good. Incoming class has huge talent base.
Grantham now has more, say again, MORE talent in Athens than 90% of the schools that we face this year.
Great kicking game. This will be a huge year for our punter and kicker. NFL is the next step for these two guys.
Guess that I am in agreement with your "Big in the Know" older gentleman DAWG. Something has to change besides the players coming in each year. This JAX business has to change.
I have never seen this much talent come on board in Athens, using the media and others as measuring sticks, and that goes back a couple of years.
Here is hoping that Geathers moves to the offensive side of the ball, (if needed). Just not sure about "Bean", seems that he let football pass him by, maybe he can catch up this year. Bean's problem could relate to coaching, heck, I don't know. We will get some answers in Atlanta, and the following week in Athens.
I say this . . . . when you have the right players at the right position, it usually comes down to coaching.
RabunDog, glad you are back . . .
Go Dawgs!! Coach 'em up . . .
