Disappointing, but no huge surprise--from ajc.com--
Justin Houston heads to NFL
5:25 pm January 15, 2011, by Tim Tucker
All-SEC outside linebacker Justin Houston will skip his senior season at Georgia to enter the NFL draft.
Houston announced his unsurprising decision Saturday, deadline day for underclassmen to declare for the draft.
“It was a very hard decision to make, but in the end I had to do what’s best for my family and me,” Houston said in a statement.
He became the second Georgia junior to enter this year’s draft, joining wide receiver A.J. Green. Three other UGA juniors who seriously considered the draft –- cornerback Brandon Boykin and offensive linemen Cordy Glenn and Trinton Sturdivant -– decided to stay in school.
Houston is rated the draft’s No. 26 overall prospect by Scouts Inc. Draft analysts generally peg him as a late first-round or second-round pick

Never had a doubt he would go pro. He will find a tough row to hoe once he hits camp being he will be behind in strength and conditioning like many other prospects out of UGA. He could have benefited from another year to develop, but money talks.
Hopefully this means a kid from Thomasville, GA is keeping a close eye and commits based on Houston's decision.

I have a feeling that Fairley will have a rude awakening when he gets to camp.

Fairley will make it at the next level..........right up until he tries to drive Tom Brady into the ground or spears Manning in the back. The the NFL cash machine will beat him down and put him is his place very quickly.
