Guess I thought all the bashing was just saying the same things over and over, kinda like my wife says that I do all the time. :woohoo: :woohoo:

Ran across this piece of news that I had not seen.
Muschamp is going to be a terror it appears. Pulling in these ex NFL coaches and players puts a sparkle in the eyes of youthful NFL hopefuls.
Their new defensive line coach will definitely have young players stop, look and listen.

Agree Buc
That makes about 5 coaches with nfl ties - this will be interesting to watch with all this nfl experiance staff and a young head coach and the previous head coach all in the same building - could create some interesting situations

Muschamp knows what is expected, Foley is very clear about UF football.
While some might think that there is too much negative talk about UGA football and the present coach or coaches, folks in Florida are anything but on the same page at this point. They did not have a 6-7 season. They did not get their butts handed to them in Memphis. We did. Many of the UF faithful are anything but happy. Foley heard them and made some decisions in a hurry.
Florida beat us again, don't care how we rehash the game in JAX, the final score is the determining factor. Florida fans, for the most part don't view UGA the same way they do for example, Alabama, LSU, Auburn, and now South Carolina. It is an accepted fact in the State of Florida that UGA is recorded as a win before the game is played. Much like the Ohio State and Michigan game at this point. OSU chalks that game up as a W before it is played.
Do I like it, nope. Will I get off of the stump until something or someone does an about face and at least makes us competitive again, nope. Are the changes in the S&C department going to take UGA from a 6-7 season to at least 10 wins? I don't know but I can speculate that it will take more than S&C changes to put W's on the board. As I understand it, there will not be on field coaching changes, maybe that will change, but Richt said he is basically standing pat. Foley would dismiss him before he could blink.
Below is a site that is very encouraging about the prospects and the potential players that might be coming to UGA. If we land all of the players that are wanted and are anticipated to sign, in my mind that would leave no excuses by the current group of coaches and administrators to slip any further. Agree?

I'm with ya Buc
Untill we start beating them lizzards and make that game competative again - we will not have turned the corner
The one that the article does not talk about that I think we MUST get is that NT Jenkins - he MIGHT be the one piece missing to make us a good defense
Agree about foley - he will not hesitate - was interesting that he called MACK when um announced - I think MACK will do what needs to be done
