I like Todd Grantham less and less every game

I see defensive men out of position, I can live with that. I also see defensive men that are knocking the heck out of folks, did not see a lot of that in the past 5 years or so. TO's tell a black and blue story, imo.

AMEN - IF CTG has free reign on who to sign this year - when he gets the right guys - it will be GATA again - heard he's after a few really good JV guys - I think he has realized that he does not have the guys he needs - he has tinkered all year to make do with what he has had - think he wants a noticable change like we do

As KD and others have said DEFENSE wins championships - or at least gets you in the hunt - like the presumed duck/tiger NC game - it will be who can stop the other guy is the one that will win - they can both score

RabunDog, this upcoming recruiting session is going to show us what we can expect from CTG's ability to "get" the players he needs. You know it and so do I.

As you say, we can score, and that should stay relatively stable next year. Defense has some serious work to do, and do it quickly. Beginning to look more like 2012 before we show substantial progress. (As a TEAM) . . .

Buc, imo, CTG has NO choice but to go the JUCO route to get what he needs immediately then recruits to start a re-load, building process. With the firepower we have on offense we need a quick fix on the DL next year.

wlayton, could not agree more. Just really going to be interesting to see what CTG comes away with his first year of serious high school recruiting in that five hour radius he mentioned when arriving on campus. I am totally pulling for CTG to get what he wants and proves to one and all that his way is the right way on defense. I like his fire. Think that he needs to be left alone (totally) and we will see results.

I understand the frustration of watching Tech run all over us.
Having said that, you have to give it to Houston, a truly good person.
Grantham will make it work with the right players.
I liked the end of the game intensity from the defense.
We won a close one. We beat Tech.
I have to be happy.
