Hopefully CMR jumps down off his high horse and comments on Fairley.
Richt has shown more emotion lately.

Good post AD5.

Time for our coaches to take a serious look at AM and others. We are losing a lot of Olinemen and that in my opinion is where football is played.

Defense is and has always been a focal point for UGA fans. My thoughts are this . . . go heavy duty with folks that can protect AM and the others on that side of the ball. Too bad what happened to Sturdivant over the years, he had his problems protecting against the Thug U defense. Knee injuries are really hard to come back from, as you know, I am quite sure.

Posted concerning AM getting hurt, he was in the pocket when they nailed him Saturday. Use those wheels AM. He has said that he is ok and will be fine. Him saying that convinces me.

I am so looking forward to Thug U and UGA between the hedges.

Must say this . . . . . never, ever have I pulled for SS to win a football game. Saturday night, I was on his side. Can't believe I said that . . . .

I think we all were pulling for SC a little bit. It was a lose-lose situation in that game. Wish they both could have lost.

As far as Richt going to the media, I think by the way the answered, just about everyone could assume that he was not happy with the play of Fairley. I am happy he didn't go off in the media. Would have just made it worse IMO. Everyone saw what happened Sat. No need to comment on it to the media. Keep it behind closed doors, and remember what happened. I was happy to see the guys fighting for their QB. Speaks volumes about the respect that Murray has in that locker room, and speaks volumes about this team. They are a team, and that is more than I can say about what I watched last year. Richt was fired up. He spoke his mind to the guys he should have. It is the zebra's responsibility to control the game, and he let them know what he thought.

The wins and losses absolutely suck. Terrible. But, I get the feeling our boys are in it for each other. Seeing a lot of togetherness, if that is a word, that I didn't see last year. I still have confidence in CTG. Guys played hard, but we just blew some assignments. Ogletree looked like a frosh. Has a great future, but looked a little lost in that game. He is young, and he will bounce back.

I still just can't say enough about Murray. Been along time since I have seen a QB like him. Stafford was great, but he never seemed to have those intangibles outside of physical talent that Murray does. I don't think I have ever been so excited about a UGA QB.

Hey Buc - I agree that Fairley is a thug but who is supposed to take care of players like that? Our O-line should have made sure that he got a ride off that field after he speared Murray in the back.
Of course, the best answer for Fairley is to block him. If he doesn't get to the QB he can't hit him.

Has been said before.

CTG has had this year to start a return to junkyard dawg football. Amazes me the amount of publicity that was given by the media to him pumping his fist and the throat gesture. Should not say that it amazes me, that is what the media gossips thrive on. That is what happens when you are in a position of control. What CTG did in no way compares with what Thug U did Saturday, but gets a heck of a lot more exposure.

Slive, you are a loser. Couple of their players throw punches, what . . . . what happens if they land, broken finger. Stupid trying to compare that to what Fairley did. Players have their helmets on. Speared in the back by a three hundred pound idiot, not knowing the blow is coming . . . . that hurts and can end a career.

Think the press is bad now on Cam, wait until he hits the big time, this kid is totally out of control. His father, pastor . . . . really? Dad running one of those GREEN CHURCHES. Cam will make Tiger Woods and Vick look like choir boys. Kid has destructive behavior written all over him.

Might want to remember this . . . Auburn has played 8 of their 11 games on home turf. Should and does mean a lot. Alabama and Saban, will pull harder for you guys that I did for SS on Saturday night. Maybe the main Thug gets his.

ecdawg, watching Fairley, have to say this, hard for any Olineman to stop this guy. He is without a doubt a speciman. Heading to the NFL without a doubt, showing them just how bad he can be. In the NFL, those guys will get Fairley's attention, real quick. They are playing for a living, he is not Superman in the NFL.

When Jones took a shot at Fairley on the play that AM got speared, he was a little late getting there, even though he did get his hands on him. Ben had no idea that Fairley was going to come that late and put the shot on AM. Soon after that, Davis tried to break his leg and was called on the play for a chop block. Amazing, same officials, same side of the field and bingo . . . . Davis was being bad. Flag.

Looking forward to Saban and Smart's answer to Fairley. We can rest assured that the Iron Bowl will be rocking. When I am watching the game, Fairley gets his, I will be rocking.
