Tidbits of Information learned over the weekend.

Wlayton, the reason I am on CMR/Bobo and not TG is easy. Saban was 6-6 in his first year and most of that was a defensive problem. In a 3-4, you need all three DL to be minimum 300lbs. We have no 300 pounder on the DL. He gets a pass b/c 1) he didn't recruit these players; 2) they will be more comfortable in a 3-4 as they learn it.

CMR / Bobo have 10 years here. At some point, regardless of fumbles, bad calls, etc, a trend is a trend. Why were there two WR's at the same spot on the field in OT on the tipped interception???? That is coaching.

Why does CMR say we don't treat the 20 yard line as though it's red zone? Why not be safe there and minimum make it where UF has to use a punter to kick a FG JUST to keep the game going? That is coaching.

The big donors in the stands Sat made a good point: any doubt that Rantavious Wooten would be All-SEC at UF? That carlton Thomas would be a game changer at UF? We don't look at the strengths of our players (Thomas is an open field type guy) and put them in those positions: HONK YOUR HORN IF YOU HAVE EVER SEEN THOMAS---A 180 LB RB----RUN UP THE MIDDLE ON 3RD AND 8?????????????????????????????

CMR / Bobo will never out coach Urban. Period. We will always have more TO's than UF in that game. period. The ball will always bounce UF's way in this game.

How do i know that??? It's called a trend.

How do you explain 12 TO's in the last 4 games to UF and they only have 2? Is it all a flke? or is it the way we coach ball control??? I don't know.

Wow......you seem to have all the answers, I say you should go to the Butts-Mehre building and fill out an application.

Oh, btw, I work for a Wall Street firm, I know what a trend is. ;)

Wlayton, I am not trying be a smart alleck here. Just tossing out things I see. How many times do we have to see Bobo call 20-25 yard passes in situations where we don't need them. It is just frustrating me.

I have seen us have a 6 point lead against SC, with 3:30 left in the game, and we start a drive from our OWN 10 yard line. Now, what is the last thing you want to do? Three and OUT. Well, I proceeded to watch us throw 3 straight passes down the field and we go three and out and had to hold on near our goal line to squeek out a win.

Now tell me, is THAT not bad coaching? They never should have gotten the ball back.

All CMR's SEC runs came before Meyer/Saban. I want SEC titiles, not 8-4 with a "good man".

Wlayton, I we have been on the same page for awhile. There is no need in arguing for Richt because way to many want him gone. Everything will be his fault from here on out no matter what. Just like this for instance, if Richt were not on the hot seat, I am willing to bet it would have been our guys didn't make the plays they needed to in this game. Which they didn't. I am not defending the coaches for other games. Just this one. The offensive side of the ball was not to blame. In OT, we threw one deep pass. I liked it. Durham has been a big play WR. Everyone wanted us to be aggressive. That was aggressive. No problem. The pick in OT was Murray's fault. He forced the ball on a slant to Green that was tripled covered. Re-watch the play. OC man left him to jump AJ. If he reads it correctly, OC probably would have scored because the safety was also focusing on AJ. I guess that is the coaches fault. I am sure they haven't told him what triple coverage looks like. He made a freshman mistake. Unfortunately, they happen. Just hope they don't happen at times like that.

Now as far as the other stuff. Will not argue. I am not saying that I necessarily want Richt to stay. I just don't think, for whatever reason, he can win constantly against UF. Just hasn't been able to do it. He even lost to Zook. Tired of seeing us lose to UF and a lot of others.

I know it sounds like I am sitting on both sides of the fence, well because, I am. I am not sure what the right move to make is. A lot of me thinks that Richt could right the ship, but the other half of me is getting tired of waiting. I also think to many people look at only the successful hires. They don't all end up like Saban and Meyer. Look at Dan Hawkins. Many thought he would be the savior at Colorado. They are not UGA but they had a pretty good football history. Look where they are at. He was incredibly successful at Boise State. He is the one who laid the groundwork for that program. Hires don't always work the way we all think they would. Look what Bama had to endure to finally get it right. Dubose, Shula, Franchione, and Price. Program was almost ruined forever.

If we make a coaching change, we better get it right, because the consequences might be worse than we could ever imagine. We aren't going to get Meyer, or Saban. We are going to have to take a chance. Hope it is the right one.

GO DAWGS.

I agree with you that I, too, want SEC titles and more. No, I am NOT a Bobo fan at all. I stated a couple of weeks ago to go get Mark Whipple from UM as our next OC. Love his aggressive play calling.....fearless.

Truth be known, we all "think" we are very knowlegable about the game but probably don't really have a clue if we all knew the inside info of what is really going on, on the field etc. Guess I feel we are a lot like "backseat drivers".......they know the basics of driving but are only 14 years old and don't really have a clue.

And Richt lost to him anyway.
:)

Jim harbaugh could do it.
Chip Kelley could.

Kirby Smart?
Jon Gruden?

Chris Petersen?

I don't know. All I know is, UF has had three coaches while we have been stable with Richt. he couldn't beat ANY of them
