Gets to me a bit, cannot understand totally what I am seeing. Probably wrong on this, however, think that Richt will resign. What I just said surprises even an old fart like me.
Does not make a lot of difference if you have been a UGA supporter for 1 year or many years, it becomes increasingly difficult to watch us go with the flow. For me to say that we do not have direction . . . go back through the many posts and threads on this site, not much that I can add to some very learned posts.
Winning is one thing, lack of quality coaching is another. Much like the ball on New Year's Eve in Times Square . . . . we have hit the bottom. Not sure how, or if ever, we will pull out of this. Remember the time lapse between our NC and now. Many, many years have passed.
It is understandable that we (UGA) might not win the MNC, but it sure hurts that we cannot even rub the cyrstal, just admire it, want to be a part of it.
It is time for those at our school, UGA, to take a different look at football. If any school has a cash cow . . . . guess that I would say UGA FOOTBALL IS A CASH COW.
In my lifetime, there were times that I knew change was due, in the case of UGA Football, that time is now. Know that all will not agree, but if you have a better solution . . . . you know how that works.
It is not the losing . . . . it is how we lose. I do not like CASUAL FOOTBALL, that is what we have had for far too long. Don't smile at me and say that things will get better, too old for that, know better, don't tell me too hang in there, have hung too long. The football program at our school has totally lost direction.
If anyone thinks that UGA football will get better, just post a line or two here and tell or explain to me how that is going to happen. Been a part of UGA football for a long time, never, ever, have I felt like this. Low is not the word.
