That is who we need to ask to take over before someone else does.

1. We need a coach who is as big a jerk as Meyer and Saban, and an ego their size as well. He has it.
2. He can recruit-Stanford is the vanderbilt of the PAC10, and they may be the best team out there.
3. He is very emotional.
4. he has that killer instinct (They have 61 points on Wake, and he calls a timeout to set up a pass play to rub it in.)

hate to say it, we need that attitude in order to go down to the Cocktail Party and mentally think we can win.

Have you all watched Stanford?? Physical, diverse, well coached.

Interesting BulldogShannon. Sounds a lot like SS. Agree? He has that type of ego. His brother doing well in the NFL. UGA needs some snap, totally disappointed with the discipline. There does not appear to be any.

I like those qualities except:

4. he has that killer instinct (They have 61 points on Wake, and he calls a timeout to set up a pass play to rub it in.)

That is a bit too Spurrier-esque in my opinion. We don't need that kind of cheap leadership. I don't have respect for those who hit others when they are down. To be honest, I am not too keen on #1 either. There is no reason that a coach cannot be respectable. Maybe I am missing the boat, but I don't think Meyer or Saban are jerks. Intense competitors - definitely - but not jerks. Meyer has annoyed me with some of his comments in the past but the one that comes to mind about UGA getting all kinds of talent and wasting it is no very true. Can't argue with the truth.

We don't need anyone to replace CMR right now... are you talking about Bobo? I hope so but know you're not. And Harbaugh isn't leaving Stanford for a OC job at UGA... Let's get off of this fair-weather bandwagon and continue to support our DAWGS through this transition, which we all said it would be after the spring game. Our hopes were set high, as most fans' are, but realistically, even in our year before Stafford and Moreno and the 07 campaign took off, we went 9-4 in 06 with arguably the most talent in the East. It's our D's first year under a new, and impressive coordinator in Grantham, and we have a FROSH QB!!! Our offensive line is underperforming, and our OC is worthless at this point... But lets be real. Regardless of whether or not we should be 0-3 in the SEC, there are still 8 games left to improve, and I believe our boys will get it done and make us proud in the next 2\3's of this season. Look at it as it is, and not as we believe it should be. I believe CMR will soon make the call to start play calling again, and Bobo's job will be saved by demotion for the season... But PLEASE get off this REPLACE CMR CRAP. Because at this point, that's still what it is. GOOOOO DAWGS!!!!! GET AFTER THE "NOT SO" BUFFS!!!!

Georgiaboy, I like what you have to say my friend. i must add....Our D line is to small to run a 3-4 type D this season and our secondary is all over the place on every play. I hope we can get a juco NG like Cody. Right know we are playing with basically 3 DE on the line. The line can't get pressure and houston is being double teamed.

As far as the O goes well we can blame Bobo but it looks like to me the players just can't perform. I have a coaching background and you can practice, set up the mind set and put the fundamentals in place. If the players can't do the simple things you ask you make changes. I don't see changes being made? Changes come from coaching, you try different things to get your point across. if that doesn't work you go look into the mirror and tell yourself someone else needs to teach this/these kid(s). Unfortunatly i have had to do this and it's not fun to realize you can't get the job done. I went to my boss and asked him to sit in on a couple of lessons and see what i could do better. We say some things together and he helped with basically the same swing thoughts just different terminology. This player went on to play in the State Am, college scholarship, and even won couple city tournaments. Point being CMR needs to step in and Bobo needs to man up and ask for help during practice and not just game time.

The D will be fine once everyone understands what exactly aggressive but smart defense is.

Georgiaboy, you are pretty much making the argument FOR getting rid of Richt. We went 9-4 with arguably the most talent? What does that point to? Coaching. It's our D's first year under a new coordinator? So is Miss St. Our offensive line is underperforming, and our OC is worthless? Coaching. We have a frosh QB? So was David Greene. So call it crap if you want. I certainly wouldn't say your opinion is wrong, just saying that with that kind of rationale, you should prepare to lose 5-6 games every year.

The SMART era CONTINUES!!!!!!
