With all the talk about how our “O” line would be dominant has there be any talk of firing CTS? I have not heard any. Why has he escaped the flack? Our “O” line such group of under performers?
Same players we had for last year games with Tech and A & M. Same backs and we can’t run.
If I had to guess, yankee, I think Searels has escaped most people's wrath because they know it still boils down to Richt's decision for little or no contact in the spring and fall practices. Fundamentally, these guys know how to block, but since they hadn't gotten knocked on their @$$es since last December, it's quite hard for them to get past it and perform.
The SMART era CONTINUES!!!!!!

That's the guy I'd be courting. And if he was smart, he'd be listening.

I'd be talking to Gruden. NFL players are grown men, some of them are quite intelligent, and their careers are longer than Gruden's BS is tolerable for some of them. Don't know if you've listened to him much on MNF but the guy will sometimes make stuff up just to prove a point. Sure, he can be an offensive genius at times ... but jeez. There's only so much BS that a person can take from his boss before it starts to wear them down. After a few seasons all but the dimmest of bulbs would figure it out. College is the perfect place for Gruden. Young players who rotate through the revolving door every 4-5 years. It is the place wehere he could really truly excel and do what he loves the best --- teach QB's how to be field generals.

He may be the next coach in Dallas.......UGA can't compete with that if it happens.

IMO, he is not compatible with the NFL on a long term basis. NFL players stay with one team for a really long time and you need a coach who can build up players and keep their respect over a 10 year career. You need a Dungy, Reid, or Bellichek in the NFL. If your team is in basement then a short timer like Parcells is okay. But Dallas? I don't see it. They are at the point where they can go out and hire for the long term. Gruden wears out his welcome in 4-5 years.
Gruden would be a good choice but not sure he could stomach dealing with these kids nowaday....."Chuckie" might kill one of them.

A possible reason for the success of opposing team’s opening drives: Mississippi State showed some formations that Georgia hadn’t seen on film, according to Richt. MSU also played some guys that Georgia weren’t sure would play because of injury
Pretty much sums up the difference in Mullen and MB/MR. There are rarely if ever any new looks to our offense. These folks do not know how to mix things up, Miss State's coach that they pulled away from UF sure does. Sorry, this is pathetic.
