This is the type of quote that really makes me scratch my head. Came from Richt's press conference.
A possible reason for the success of opposing team’s opening drives: Mississippi State showed some formations that Georgia hadn’t seen on film, according to Richt. MSU also played some guys that Georgia weren’t sure would play because of injury
Pretty much sums up the difference in Mullen and MB/MR. There are rarely if ever any new looks to our offense. These folks do not know how to mix things up, Miss State's coach that they pulled away from UF sure does. Sorry, this is pathetic.

I think we know what we have with CMR, and the thing that matters most in Athens now is whether or not that is acceptable for another year. CMR will not win a national championship or even another SEC championship. This year, he will not win a bowl because we will not play a bowl for the first time in 13 years. If nothing changes, we will have a losing season this year and, folks, it may be as bad as 1990.
I like CMR, but it's time for him to go. He's secured his place in our history, but he's lost something. He looks bored on the sidelines, like he'd rather be somewhere else, so why not let him go chase his other calling, whatever that may be. I don't want to see him rode out of town like Ray Goff, especially since CMR is a giant in comparison. However, this is football. CMR is a victim of his own success. He gave us a taste of winning and now we're crack addicts suffering withdrawals, and blaming the dealer.
Bobo is a joke. How we can be this pathetic with this talent escapes me, but it falls on CMB, and I'll be damned if I'll excuse the boss for throwing his workers under the table for having a poor plan.
I believe the OP when he said that this is what the next few years looks like. It's not about money. Our ADept can pay off CMR's buyout and not miss a beat. It's about courage. It's actually about management, but right now we're rotton from core to skin, and until somebody steps up and says enough, we WILL be the new Kentucky.
All this hurts. I think its tough being a fan in this situation because we won't give up on the team, no matter what. My attachment, however, is with the school, not the coaches, and now I'm firmly in the camp of firing and starting over.
