My Two Cents

I just have been hanging on the sidelines reading posts and trying to glean some insight as to how go about correcting our problems.

Top of the list:

Fire CMR – at the very least fire CMB.

Been real quite about keeping Russ !

Has anybody seen any of our DB’s within 5 yards of a receiver? I wonder what the yards after catch against us are.

With all the talk about how our “O” line would be dominant has there be any talk of firing CTS? I have not heard any. Why has he escaped the flack? Our “O” line such group of under performers?

Same players we had for last year games with Tech and A & M. Same backs and we can’t run.

Or is this the AJ factor of stopping the run and force us to pass. What has happened to the toss sweep? OK more poor play calling by Bobo.

The Hogs gave Bama a great game and went down by 4. Auburn had its hands full with SC and won by 8.

At the risk of being called a “Sunshine Pumper” it tells me we got beat by two better than average teams. This week we were flat and clueless. Had we played this game like the fourth quarter against the Hogs we would have won by 21 points? If’s and Butts!

Reflecting again about what was said here this summer while there were optimistic hopes for the season most of us understood with a freshman QB and a new defense we may be looking at a sub-par year.

We were pleased about our three new coaches on defense and reasoned that it would take time. While they have had four games and three conference losses. Surely that is enough time?

I want the Dawgs to be something more than average. It is our history and what we demand of ourselves. We do not want to be the new Vanderbilt or Kentucky of the East.

Was Saturday the bottom? We have eight more games to provide that answer.

Seems like the pro’s have their problems with DUI’s (Jets)

It has rained hard here in Athens for the past 24hrs. It kind of reflects the mood across the Bulldog Nation.

I am going to Rite-Aid and get something for a three game hangover!

Yankeedawg 1, it is the problem with CMR not wanting to make adjustments of changes. This is the most stubborn man I have ever seen. He seems to refuse to take advise from anyone and continues to use the same old guote, must stay the course. To me this sounds like a broken record. It worked his first few years, finish the drill ect, but I have always said he inherritted Green and Pollock and as someone said earlier, the SC, Tenn, LSU, ALA and Fla wern't all that good back in 01,02,03. While these programs continue to get better and grow, we have been on the down hill slide for the past 5 years now. I said this in 08, 09 and I still stick by my comments today. I have always said I like CMR as a person, but have always said he is not a coach for the SEC. It is now showing in our decline over the years, for he just refuses to bite the bullet and make the changes to make our offense more that one dementional. We are so predictable, that any Defense can get ready for us for we only run 3 lor 4 of the same plays over and over.

I don't see things changing unless our new AD makes the change, and you can expect UGA to be the Vandy for the next 2 years if nothing is done and we (stay the course).

Remember before the season when a lot of us on here were saying this team was special?

Duck, Have no problem cleaning house. that includes ALL the coaches. We are failing in to many areas and may just have to follow the same course as TN and ND.

This will be an interesting off season for sure. Me thinks our new AD is getting a daily earfull.

Just hire the WHOLE Boise St coaching staff.

Won't happen.....CMR has bought himself 1 maybe 2 years with the defensive hires. His last ace-in-the-hole" that he can pull out is firing Bobo.....that may assure that extra year he can stay.
