Meyer came to Florida under the same circumstances. I would take BVG or Pederson from Boise State or most anyone with a little meanness to them.

Funny you mention 2 years because that is precisely how long it took Meyer to win a title and for Saban to go 12-0.

And I also said because Fla and ALa always recruit high no matter what. Thats why sell outs like saban and myer went there an easy NC because the talent is already there. no hard sell.

Georgia has recruited every bit as well as Alabama for a very long time. Before Saban when Alabama was down UGA recruited better. Alabama also had lots of NCAA problems that affected recruiting.

If Florida out recruits UGA it is by a slim margin. The difference is coaching.

Look Yall, if I didint see fight in our guys this week then I would say to heck with CMR!! but they did give it there all at least the majority. you must give CTG and AM a Yr to get themselves in there. OSD, you and I have kind of held hands and skipped down the lane together on this board.

There does come a time when ALL HANDS ON DECK means something. All hands on deck is not occuring at UGA, has not for several years.

While we might be a great team if we get the "Bigguns" that CTG wants, how does that improve the offensive side of the ball if we are going to play three and out.

CMR won a lot of games, but we have to be honest and say that CMR won a lot of games with prior coaches recruiting. We must also admit to OURSELVES that when we were winning ten games a year, CMR was calling the offensive plays. By choice, he gave that portion of the game to MB. Also, CMR did the same thing on the defensive side of the ball, gave the keys to the D to WM. If he was running a Fortune 500 Company, he would be shoveling dirt right now. You must pay dividends, or . . . .

The play calling has to have CMR's ear, think that you would agree with that. Might be that MB is calling the plays, but those headphones on CMR are there for a reason. That leads me to this . . . . Today do you agree with the play calling? Did CMR agree with the play calling?

As far as your assessment of VD, said from the start that he was not my favorite, still isn't. Without HW, never would have won a NC. Understand VD's record versus CMR's. VD made a serious mistake when Erk was not named head coach. We will never know, but Erk went south and proved that he could coach both sides of the ball. VD did not know a damn thing about defense.

Long and short is something like this. . . . if we don't get a back with the talent of Crowell, to go along with the talents of AM, we are in deep you know what. So, if we get Crowell, and we have the play calling that I witnessed today, last week and the years before why would Crowell come to UGA. COACH RICHT MAKES THE DECISIONS FOR THE UGA FOOTBALL TEAM. Sorry to shout, but I know you understand. If not, we are simply on opposite sides of what this team needs to do.

GO DAWGS, MAKE SERIOUS IMPROVEMENTS!!
