Shoulda, woulda, coulda was created by flyindawg
It's Monday. As let down as we all are, it's time to talk about the upcoming game. Arkansas, any thoughts?

1) Turn AM loose and let his natural God given talent shine. He will find a way to make a play and win the game. You can just sense it watching him play. He looked so dejected on Saturday on the bench watching his and I do mean his team lose. He is not a loser. Does not like it.

2) Juston Houston is a game changer. Find as many ways as possible to get him in a good match up situation on the line.

3) I would like to see two of the new kids. Ogletree and Stripling. Let them show the upper classmen what fire in the belly looks like.

4) Last but most important IMHO, take the clip board away from CMB. Nothing against the man personally, I am sure he works hard and gives his all, but he is just not an X & O guy. It is a gift and he doesn't have it. There is no shame in that. He has gifts he can use elsewhere on the team. He can stay on the bus, just needs to find the right seat. We have so many weapons on offense and it just appears that he gets overwhelmed in the middle of the game and does not know how to see what is being given. A dive up the middle on 3rd and 2 when they had 8 & 9 guys on the line all day. Come on, we may have one of the best tight ends in the country and can not find a way to get him the ball for two yards? Put Thomas Brown in a slot and let them try to cover him in the open field with a LB. Run play action boot leg with your QB who is an excellent runner. Don't lecture the kid for taking off and running when he sees it is there. Tell him how to slide when he needs to, but let him do what he does. He just PLAYS FOOTBALL and WINS!

Well I would feel better if Am were drawing up his own plays for sat. Basically Im tired of hearing about all these good players we have and just want them to show us instead of tell us. I want us to be talking about what we saw good in a win next sunday, instead of what we saw good into losing to a team we shouldnt lose to. Everyone is different in how they approach things, not saying one is right and one is wrong, but I just want to see a combined effort from the whole team I want to see that they left it all on the field when its said and done. I dont want us to be saying well you know we lost, but hey that was a good play. Because that means we have went from expecting to catch Fla and beat them and win the east. To settling to be behind SC or Kentucky and saying maybe next yr. All I know is David Greene, Pollack, CBVG an CMR were all new and rookies too, but they still kicked butt their first season even whipped UT, I never heard any of them setteling for a butt kicking. no matter if it was by 5 pts or 40pts its still a loss and that is unacceptable, they put on their britches just like we do. and our guys were recruited alot higher. So yeah GOOO DAWGSSSS Beat ARK anyway you can, but I believe they must change their mindset and start kicking Butt on the lines!!!!

Once A DAWG Always A DAWG

Work these kids so hard that they lose their phony swagger.
You earn your stripes in this league.
