I think the D will do just fine.

I am betting the fire in Grantham comes out and the boys respond well.

And Ark. does not have a back anywhere as nice as Lattimore. We will give up points, but we will score points.

I am seeing the Murray coming out party this Saturday.

CMR stated and admitted that they held AM back too much with a conservative game plan and that they were going to open up the offense and put it more into his hands.

Well good.

It will be needed. UGA can beat Arkansas this week. They are not top 10 material.

kd and all thanks for your passion and all is not doom and gloom,

Without a question we stunk it up Saturday.Weekly improvement will be the key. We are in better shape than many have posted here. Do you think WM would have held SC to 17 points ? You are living under a rock if you think not having AJ did not make a difference on Saturday. I hear all the stuff of him only being one player yada yada him in the game makes the defense have to play a different coverage and opens up the run game. The wheel has a wobble but it has not fallen off yet, I am betting it won't. This will be a damn good "D" before years end. Go Dawgs

KD, I agree with you......

1. D will get better, we knew it may take half the season to adapt to the 3-4, especially when we don't have all the personel

2. Problem was two fold Sat on D.......we weren't MAN enough and take this to the bank......if Lattimore doesn't get hurt, he will be in the Heisman race, if not this year then next......he's THAT good.

3. Offense needs to crank it up.......only giving up 17 points should be a win in every game

4. BUT.......we have got to win the time of possession every game. You aren't going to win many games with a balanced attack when you have a 10 1/2 minute deficit in time of possession unless you have a "quick strike" offense like Ark.

5. Turn AM loose......MAN UP on D.......

People are comparing Lattimore to Adrian Peterson already. HE is the best player they have had since George Rogers atleast.

I think the defense will be fine.

Look, Lattimore is special. How SCU was able to recruit him is a wonder, but there you have it. I imagine this is how teams felt when Knowshon was running all over them, and I've got to tell you, it sucks. The best team won last Saturday, but it's not the end of the world. AM will be fine. The D will be fine. I think the O line will (unfortunately) improve as the season goes on, rather than start out fine. If we end up the season in the top ten, that ought to be considered a good year.
