OSD.......CTG will be fine, this is a defensive transition year. BVG wouldn't do any better with these players on our D. You have to have HEART to play D......our players are the Tin Man playing 11 positions.

Agree - CTG is having to do the best with what he's got (wm's wossies) - BUT he said he would play the best players - so - I'm expecting to see some changes in personnel - they may not be any better - but at least it would show he's trying to make some changes - remember bama's 1st year - it was not too good

Just thought I'd drop by to see if sentiment here was anything like on my blog - it is.
I did not read all replies to this topic so at the risk of being redundant here's my list.
1. USC was stronger and in better shape than the Dawgs. I am sick of hearing how much weight they can lift. What matters is which line pushes and which gets pushed - as well as which team is able to finish in the 4th - it ain't Georgia.
2. The O-line did a reasonably good job of pass blocking but USC was playing to stop the run and make Murray beat them. Bobo failed to adjust to what he was given and call the game from hell.
3. That USC was stacking to stop the run is no excuse. Check what Bama did to Penn State under the same circumstances.
4. Tackling was terrible. Not just failing to wrap-up but there were numerous shoe dives by db's that were just gutless. However, defense did not lose that game and CTG has made progress - especially with pass coverage.
5. Drastic action must be taken by this staff now or they will not see January in Athens.

Yeah I agree with yall, CTG does need time to get some of his own type of players in here. He definately dosent have many Men to work with just some boys. I guess it will take a yr for the 3-4 to work here also. We do need to get a Jr co player in here with the size of a T cody to play the middle.

One more thing that really bothers me about yesterday, They just didnt seem to have any urgency, everytime SC had a 3rd and 7 or 3rd and whatever they got it. and our D just kept falling for the same old plays everytime, seems like they just didnt really care no fire in them. while Sc players were running around like their heads were on fire, they couldnt wait to see who was going to hit our guys first. Attitude you must have it!!! Our guys heads were not in this game.

Not the first time this has happened, nor will it be the last ecdawg.
